This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, vacation home, located one block from Bogue Sound, has all the benefits of the beach and sound while being located on the mainland. At the end of each street there is water access with a picnic table and a grill for your use. Also on one street there is a small beach for your use. The closest island beach access is only four miles away. There are three golf courses nearby. The nearest as close as two miles. If you would like to bring your own boat, there is a boat ramp close by.
For those that want to visit with their military families in a home type environment, Camp LeJuene is only 20 miles away and Cherry Point is about 21 miles away. Shopping, entertainment, and restaurants are just a short drive away.
The decor of the home sends you on vacation as soon as you come through the door. There is almost always a breeze from the sound to cool off the warm summer evenings. Sit on the front porch or on the raised deck in the backyard for relaxation and views of the sound. Our game room provides entertainment for adults and children alike with a pool table, card table, board games, TV with VHS player and many tapes.

Why the Owner Chose Cape Carteret
My husband and I first came to the Emerald Isle area while dating and fell in low with it. While there is plenty to do the area is not overly commercial. The weather is beautiful. The people are wonderful. You can play in the sound or the ocean.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our area is vacation/retirement. You can walk to the end of each block and sit and feel yourself unwind as you enjoy watching the water and the boats passing by. You can walk the streets day or night, ride your bikes. You can even leave your doors unlocked, it is that kind of a neighborhood.
