"Beach Haven Cottage 8" is privately nestled in lush surroundings in a quiet little subdivision on the Exclusive and Scenic West Hwy 30A. We are privately located on the North row of houses that back up to Oyster Lake. Fencing on the sea-wall and nice landscaping make for pleasant and safe surroundings for children or pets. You can sit on the porch and listen and watch the natural beauty of the Old Style-Florida. Or, you can walk across the street to the most beautiful beaches in South Walton.
Biking and Walking Trails line Hwy 30-A for morning and evening walks to the park or just sightseeing. If you get a little cabin fever, shopping is nearby to include: Gulf Place, Destin Commons, Grand Boulevard, Silver Sands Designer Outlet, and the new Pier Park - which just opened in West Panama City Beach.
"Beach Haven Cottage 8" is a great place for the R & R you and your family need. Bring the whole family....plenty of room. And if this one house is not enough, you can reserve our other house next door for the same time.

Santa Rosa Beach has a personality like no other beach. It is clean, safe and family friendly. No tourist trappings. It has a very unique and quaint charm!
The Unique Benefits at this House
One of the really special feature of Beach Haven Cottages is that we are right there at the beach but we are also lake front. The Lake's boardwalk is right beside our pool. The fishing is good but the kayaking and wind surf competitions on the lake really draw the crowds. It really is the best seat in the house!

I am a true Florida Native.....have always loved the beach. My work keeps me on the road so the occasions that I can get to Santa Rosa Beaches are very special. My groundskeeper keeps the yard in beautiful condition. We are tucked in the corner so the privacy is great and when the palms blow and the jasmine and iris bloom.....it is so nice. Very relaxing....Very healing!

Went with my brothers family down to this house and really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for two families Beautiful area, not busy at all. About 20 minutes to Destin. The beach was wonderful, not busy at all, didn't feel like we we're being trampled on. The house itself was very updated and the rental property was very helpful with any questions we had once we arrived. The neighbors were all very nice too. Jaci

House is very well maintained and equiped!! Short walk across 30A to the beautiful Emerald Coast beach!! Not to far from attractions and shopping. The management was very easy to work with. We really enjoyed our stay in this property. We are already planning on coming back in the summer!!

We loved staying in the rental, great location, yard, patio, house, pool, lake. Prior to arrival, they were very accommodating. However, once our fantastic stay was over, and after many attempts to contact them, I could not get my deposit back (no damages in the house). My deposit was refunded by my credit card company via a dispute conducted by the CC company. I hated that it came to that because we were repeat customers with many years planned at their location. Fix that and we would surely come back!! We love the fish markets, bike path, Gulf Place, Big Daddy's Bike Shop for Kayaks, Baytowne Wharf for fireworks on Tuesdays.

The price was great. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained but the infromation in the book was outdated and I wasn't able to get in touch with them to answer questions. The bigger problem was it took twice as long - 60 days for me to get my deposit returned to me. Worse yet they won't response to several calls and emails. I ended up filing a dispute with my credit card company to get it resolved. Fix those things and I would have given a good rating.
