This home is located in Villa Nova, a prestigious gated community on the west side of Ajijic. Our one-level casa offers secure parking behind iron gates, but you might not need a car. Within walking distance of restaurants, galleries, markets, Lake Chapala, the town square, and all sorts of cultural events, this house is perfect for weekly or monthly stays.
Built in the last several years, our home is furnished with fine leather furniture, Mexican paintings and photographs, colorful ceramics, and stylish lighting. It rests in a courtyard with three other homes, all of which are spectacularly landscaped and feature mountain views. It is also filled with light which reflects off the tile floors and drifts in through skylights in an open living room and dining room with boveda ceilings. Both bathrooms and the kitchen contain beautiful tile finishes. The master bedroom has a king bed; the guest bedroom holds a double. Both have handmade iron and wood Mexican furniture along with spacious closets and storage space. The master bath features a deep tub, with a backyard view, along with a walk-in shower. The guest bath has a walk-in shower under a wide skylight.
Other features include a recently added patio w/iron furniture & fountain, a washer and dryer in a laundry room off the kitchen, an entryway with skylight, an alcove with desk and computer access, a rear patio dining table with four chairs and umbrella, a hammock, a bi-monthly maid, and a regular gardener. The Hotel Danza del Sol is conveniently located within a ten-minute walk. You can dine at Melanie's, take a dip in the pool, take dance classes, or join the gym. Our casa is close to a myriad other restaurants and entertainment venues.
