This three level home is great for two or more families, with two complete and separate living areas. Lush landscape surrounds the home, with lighted pathways leading to a private pool, hot tub, sandy white beach and two level dock.
You also can enjoy the awesome big water view to the east. The home itself has a pleasant atmosphere with earth tones and floors covered in wood, stone and carpet. the upper level kitchen has a large table, can seat up to 12.
There is a screened in porch with a gas grill, fireplace and flat screen TV. Also, there are 3 bedrooms (King & twin) (Queen) (2 twins), full bath, living room, kitchen and dining room on this level. The bottom level has a full kitchen, bath, 1 bedroom (Queen) and large living room with gas fireplace. This area leads out to pool.
The top floor has a loft with a pull out queen sleeper couch, full bath and across the catwalk is a private master suite and deck. It's truly a bit of paradise.

The location of this house along with the pool and nice dock make it a great vacation spot. The pool is very relaxing after a day of boating & watersports. The dock easily accomodates 2 boats and the house has plenty of room for multiple families. However, thhe house really needs some updating. The furniture is old and worn out and very uncomfortable. Some of the deck/pool furniture is also worn and/or broken. I feel that some investment to update and redo the house a bit would go a long way to make this a perfect spot to vacation with family. The owners should also periodically clean the outside areas to remove spider webs and other debris that builds up.
Owner response:This spring we will be replacing the pool/deck furniture with all new stuff. We will also be replacing the furniture on the back screened porch and some additional pieces on the inside. We will also be doing deep cleaning this spring to the exterior of the house, boat dock and the gazebo over the water. This place requires constant up keep and we try to stay on top of it. Thank you for the comments and feedback and we continually are making improvements to try and make our home a pleasure for everyone to enjoy.

A Bit of Paradise was in a beautiful location on Lake Norman. The views from the pool and the master bedroom were spectacular. The pool and hot tub were very nice, however, only a few of the inflatables held air. I would rate the cleanliness of the house as Very Good but not Excellent since there were dust bunnies under the furniture and the outdoor areas had debris and lots of cobwebs especially on the dock and in the dock sitting area. The lake was very clean and the water temp was actually warmer than the pool. Our biggest disappointment was that we could not get the stereo system to work. Overall the house was quite nice and large enough to give my family of 11 lots of room. The Lake Norman area is so beautiful we would definitely consider a return visit.
Owner response:We are in the process of installing a stereo system with speakers at the pool area, screened porch area and in the living room. Will have ipod docking station so you can play your own tunes. We have some new cleaning ladies that are doing a MUCH better job at cleaning and keeping the home clean than the group we had last summer. The cleanliness should not be an issue moving forward. We will also be replacing the pool/deck furniture this spring.

This was a great vacation!!!!! The home is amazing, it offers everything you could think of to keep your family fully enertained. We searched for the perfect home for our vacation and we are pleased we found this one, you will not be dissapointed!!!!!!!!

We love vacations at Lake Norman, 4th year we have rented a home on the lake, this is the best by far ...had everything to keep us busy all week, awesome pool, hot tub, a view you can not believe, classy property, owner very helpful. can not wait til next time.

The description says it all "A Bit of Paradise". This home is just wonderful with all the amnenities one could ask for. Our visit was very relaxing and this home is plenty spacious. The outdoor living spaces were great and our family had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend this rental.

This is one AWESOME property!! It has all the amenities one could ask for and then some. Our family had a truly wonderful time and would recommend this property to any and everyone. This was our first visit to NC and it definitely made it a memorable one, we will be back.
