The townhouse gives a picturesque view of the Assateague channel, island and lighthouse. Beaches are close by with access to restaurants and shopping. There are no high rises on Chincoteague known to the Indians as "beautiful land across the water". The transportation of choice is bicycle. The favorite trip to Assateague Island where the famous ponies roam. One would never know that this quiet peaceful island, only seven miles long would be a haven for its oyster beds and clam shoals and that this shellfish would be famous worldwide. During the winter, migrating ducks, geese and swan come by the tens of thousands. To visit Chincoteague Island is an experience one will never forget.
