This very pleasant apartment, 100 square meters (1075 square feet), is located in the heart of 'Le Marais' ( address: Rue des Archives, 4th Arrondissement ), close to some of the most important sites and museums in Paris. Bright and fully renovated on 2008 by an interior designer, elegantly furnished, it is at the same time intimate and equipped to accommodate a large family ( max 6 persons).
It consists of:
* a double living room with a dining area and fully equipped kitchen
* a master bedroom and 2 smaller bedrooms :
- the master bedroom has a “queen size” 160 x 200 cm double bed.
- the 2nd bedroom for max 3 persons has bunk beds, with an additional pull-out bed.
- the 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed for 2 persons.
* 2 bathrooms: one with a walk-in shower, hand basin, bidet and toilet; the other with a hand basin and toilet.
Fully equipped with all modern conveniences: air conditioning ( only in the living room with a portable unit) , internet access (also WiFi, but remember to bring your laptop!), TV with international channels, telephone (for incoming calls and local/emergency calls; with a prepaid card you can also call out), iPod dock and CD player, dish washer, washing machine & dryer, Nespresso coffee maker, etc .
The apartment is situated on the third floor (US fourth floor), with a traditional staircase. It is very safe (code at building entrance ) and quiet night and day (double-glazed windows, all bedrooms overlook an internal courtyard).

* There is a PUBLIC GARDEN with a playground for children nearby.
*** THE AREA
The MARAIS is one of the liveliest - and safest - areas in Paris.
You will find world-famous museums and galleries within easy walking distance, as well as great restaurants and bars, fashion and art/design boutiques, shops of every variety (bakers, greengrocers, daily market), swimming pools, cinemas... There are churches of every denomination.
*** DISTANCES FROM THE APARTMENT
* 1-2 minute's walk: CENTRE POMPIDOU, PICASSO MUSEUM.
* 5-10 minutes' walk: PLACE DES VOSGES, NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL, ILE SAINT LOUIS, RIVE GAUCHE/LEFT BANK.
* 10-15 minutes' walk: LOUVRE and the Palais Royal.
The EIFFEL TOWER and MONTMARTRE are also quite near.
*** TRANSPORT
* Convenient METRO/ SUBWAY links:
# minute walk to the 'RAMBUTEAU” metro station ( line 11), right next to the Beaubourg/Pompidou Centre
# minute walk to the 'HOTEL DE VILLE” and 'SAINT PAUL' stations (line 1, direct to the Louvre - though that too is within easy walking distance)
# minutes walk to the 'CHATELET-LES HALLES” station, main interlink of 5 metro lines and 2 RER (trains to CHARLES DE GAULLE and ORLY Airports, and to Disneyland).
* There is a N° 75 BUS STOP nearby.
* All TRAIN STATIONS are within easy distance
* A GARAGE PARKING ( 24/24) and a TAXI RANK are located in the immediate vicinity (taxis can also be stopped anywhere).

* Delivery of key: Check In is normally scheduled during the afternoon starting 3.00 pm ; Check Out in the morning before 10.00 am. A different arrangement can be made at your convenience, depending on the availability of the apartment.

Great location, very attractive apartment, clean, excellently maintained, well-equiped and modern kitchen, comfortable, large bed in master, freshly washed and ironed linens, strong, hot shower, washer/dryer small but functional. Sandrine is a gem. She was there when we arrived, and she showed us how to use everything. When I had trouble using the dryer, she respoded to my email immediately and clearly. She speaks English. She also booked us a cab to the airport and saw us off. Bedrooms face courtyard and are very quiet. Good storage in master bedroom. Wi-fi worked fine. Large dining table, comfortable living room. (3 flights of stairs, no elevator, so not recommended if stairs are an issue). Will stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a lovely time in this apartment. Everything was exactly the way it looks on the pictures. We enjoyed the market within walking distance for our groceries and discovered some very nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed having an apartment instead of a hotel, because the weather was very cold. At least we could always return to our apartment to get warm again. we had an excellent stay here. the apartment was bright and clean, it's on a quiet street and centrally located to everything. the marais is one of my favourite places in paris. and the train station is very close by, making it very easy to get to places. i would definitely recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment at the beginning of the summer for a week. Everything was taken care of prior to our visit. The accommodations were excellent and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to all of the major attractions (parks, churches restaurants, boat tours, shopping, etc.). Everyone had plenty of room and the kids/adults were very comfortable. Age range 3-5 kids, adults 35-73.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Our family had a lovely stay in this apartment in January 2011. It is beautifully decorated, and in an excellent, safe, family friendly location. The nearest supermarket is just around the corner, and the Marais gourmet food shops make cooking in the apartment an easy option, and the kitchen is well equipped.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I, (two kids ages 7 and 10) just had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful apartment in the Marais and could not recommend it more highly. Its location is fabulous, its very large and very comfortable and delivered exactly what was advertised. When we told locals of the type of place we were staying in they could only salivate with envy, the typical Paris apartment is very small. We really felt like we lived in Paris for the 9 days that we stayed there. The owner Enzo, is very easy to deal with and it was all done via e-mail and paypal. I only wish I could give it 6 stars!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Just wrapped up a week's stay at Marais Archives Deluxe. Overall, had a very nice stay. Apartment was clean, comfortable and conveniently located near the heart of the Marais. Easy access to all major museums and monuments and perfect for evening strolls down charming Parisian streets. We had an amazing time at the apartment. Our family (2 adults, 3 young kids) had ample space. The owner and his representatives on site were a pleasure to deal with. They were very professional, on time and helpful (shopping recommendations, etc...). The location is ideal, with a short walk to almost everything.
