This beautifully maintained and landscaped log cabin is located on the Schoodic Peninsula which is home to a portion of Acadia National Park. The park , about a ten minute drive, includes unequaled scenic views, hiking and biking trails, picnicing facilities, fauna, flora and bird watching galore.
In the nearby area there is sea kayaking, sightseeing, antiquing, shopping at local hand-made craft stores,fun and yummy restaurants, cafes and delis. There even is a golf course with spectacular water views from every hole in a near by village.
Prospect Harbor is a working fishing village located about 35 miles from Bar Harbor, about a half an hour from Ellsworth,
and a little over an hour from Bangor.
Fresh caught lobsters are available from the local Prospect Harbor Co-Op;which is located on the shoreline, a three minute drive.
Public swimming is available at Jones Pond about an eight minute drive. The closest beach, Sand Beach, is
a five minute bike ride or a ten minute walk from the log cabin.
The log cabin has four bedrooms and two full baths (tub/shower) in each bathroom.
The number of beds in each bedroom varies from two to four. All bed linens, towels, blankets and comforters are
provided. Most bedrooms also have bathrobes for your stay.
There is fully equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances you should need.
A TV with cable and a VCR/DVD player are available for your viewing pleasure. There are many VHS tapes to choose from. There are also books, puzzles and toys.
A telephone is available on each floor. You may connect an answering machine should the need arise.
A washer and dryer are available in the laundry room, plus an additional dryer in the garage.

$200 Non-Refundable deposit due at the time of intent. One half of rental fee be
paid on or before three months prior to rental date. The balance
of the rental fee be paid on or before two months before rental date.
