This one-of-a-kind penthouse is located on the 8th and 9th floors at Pat's at Punalu'u which has been recently renovated. It has spectacular sunrise, ocean and mountain views. This condo will someday be our retirement home and has been completely renovated with the best of everything. This condo is the nicest in the building and one of the finest on the island.
Amenities include an ocean-side bedroom with a king-size bed and a wrap around lanai and wet bar with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. It is decorated with tropical linens and plantation furniture. There is also an ocean-side wrap around lanai in the living room and one in the mountain-side bedroom. The mountain-side bedroom also includes a king-size bed and an elevated lounging/sleeping area (for 2) with mountain view. It is decorated Balinize style with plenty of bamboo and plants. Downstairs, the bedroom has a "surf" theme with a painted mural of the early days of the North Shore. It has twin beds (complete with grass bed skirts), which can be made into a king and a full-size futon with ottoman. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. We also have a portable crib available by request.
The kitchen has Silestone countertops, stainless steel appliances, Jenn-Air range with built-in grill, fridge with filtered ice and water, dishwasher, etc. There is also a Jacuzzi tub downstairs, a large capacity washer and dryer in the unit, all linens, tile floors, beach equipment and everything else that you need for your stay in paradise.
The complex has a picnic area, pool and gym. Best of all, it is on a long stretch of almost deserted beach where you can take quiet walks and relax to the sight and sounds of the surf. Also, the ocean is reef-protected so the water is almost always perfect for swimming and snorkeling, especially for young children.
The condo is located less than 10 minutes from the Polynesian Cultural Center and the Kualoa Ranch. Other “must see” destinations such as Sunset Beach are less than 20 minutes away.

The Perfect Vacation!

My husband and I lived on the North Shore for 4 years combined. I was surprised when we found that http://discounthawaiicondos.com (which has a nice properties) had a property in this building (which has a number of negative reviews). We stayed here for 6 days and am happy to report that Kathy has done an amazing job renovating, decorating, and maintaining this penthouse. We have friends that live nearby, who were also blown away at how nice this condo is. The kitchen was well-stocked with preparation equipment and the dinnerware was fun to eat from - everything was sparkling clean and looked new. The bedding is all high-quality, decorations throughout couldn't be better. The high-capactiy washer/dryer was a life-saver. The snorkling from the beach steps away from the property was as good as anywhere I've been, and with the off-shore reef that protects the beach from big waves, we felt completely comfortable letting our children explore the water with more freedom than they've had in the ocean. We even made "friends" with the two sea turtles who kept returning to the area. This condo would be perfect for two families with a combined total of 6 kids. It sleeps 10 comfortbaly, but with the privacy that many vacation homes/condos lack. Don't let the condo-owners who don't care about their guests ruin your chance to stay in this condo. Kathy gave us a "last-minute deal" which saved us a ton of money and was super accommodating, helping us any way she could. Our kids (ages 10 and 7) have fond memories of their first trip to Hawaii. Be sure to check out Kathy's website to book this condo, or one of her other condos on Oahu, Kauaii, or the Big Island. They will NOT disappoint!

Snorkling in front of the Condo is really to see turtles and some kind of fish. Thé Condo is very clean and secure, we Will recommand easily, thé only negative points the road, you Will need to take your car mostly every day . Dont be shy to go there

If you are planning on going to Hawaii, this is the place to stay. Close to all the cool attractions. Comfortable accomodations. This is what Hawaii is all about.

This beautiful penthouse condo was an absolutely wonderful location for our family Christmas vacation. The condo is decorated beautifully for everyday and they even had it decorated for Christmas at our request. We had exciting views of the ocean and watched turtles swimming below us everyday. We swam and snorkeled in the protected unspoiled water and even saw a gigantic ray! The beach toys and supplies were a wonderful touch. It was immaculately cleaned and well maintained. The owners take pride in their condos. They answered all my many questions quickly and thouroughly. I was worried about choosing a vacation condo purely on an internet ad but this condo was absolutely just as described. For nearby activities, we recommend the Super Ambassador package at the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was wonderful having our own guide, reserved seating, and backstage tour. The show is an absolutely beautiful presentation and appropriate for all ages. We went back to the Center for a second evening and for he IMAX movie.

You really made our vacation extra special. We were a bit nervous to stay in a condo instead of a hotel, but we are so happy that we decided to stay in your condo. It was so nice. The photos don't come close to showing all of the special touches and decorations to make it so perfect. And the beach was so beautiful. A couple of days we were the only ones on it. Thanks again for all that you did to make this a special place. Next time we are bringing the kids.
