One-week stay (October 11- 18, 2008) at Borgo di Vagli, a charming restored 14th Tuscan Hamlet, with pool and trattoria on premises. Daily maid service (if requested), sightseeing assistance from management couple on premises. Hiking trails, unbelievable views, 10 minute drive to Mercatale for market, shops; 30 minute drive to Cortona for wonderful restaurants, shops, sightseeing. Day trips to Siena, Montalcino (Brunello vineyards), Perugia, Orvieto, Florence and more.

Optional daily dinners at candlelit trattoria (extra charge), where you meet other travelers, eat fantastic food, drink wine and homemade limoncello, and share tales from the day's adventures.
