  When you walk into this apartment, even after a day at the beach, the view will make you feel at home. There are no other developments to obstruct the view, just ocean and some grassy hills. I found myself sitting on the balcony each afternoon reading a book until the sun went down. Many of the other properties we considered in Cabo Rojo offer no view, so we were happy we chose Costa del Mar. The apartment grounds are well maintained and the pool is lovely - big hit with the kids! The apartment was clean, well stocked with everything, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our favorite destinations were the light house at sunrise, followed by a stroll down to Playa Sucia for an early morning dip. The other beach that should not be missed is Playa Buye. But, the nice thing is that there are plenty of close destinations and if you find yourself at a beach that doesn't "wow" you, move on because you will find it just around the corner. One day we went to Playa Boqueron, we weren't too impressed with the snorkeling, so after an hour we packed up and drove 10 min. up the coast to Playa Buye and we stayed there the rest of the day. A final note: we forgot a bathing suit on the balcony and after the house manager found it, she called us. We made arrangements for her to mail it to us - wow!

  A wonderfully remote and relaxing vacation just as envisioned. This property has all the basics needed to enjoy this beautiful corner of Puerto Rico. The view will have anybody in a meditative state every moment from the the gorgeous sunlight at morning to the beautiful sunsets. Be aware that the TV/DVD is for watching movies only and that the owner has a few in stock. There's no cable or local TV and cellular signal is limited and inconsistent (not the owner's fault, FYI only). This is a place to disconnect. The area has markets, a pharmacy and local restaurants. It was great having a gym. Our host Doris stayed with us on the phone during the last few miles of our drive to ensure we found the spot as addresses in Puerto Rico are not as easy to follow as in the mainland US, though a GPS will get you very close. Overall a great stay we would repeat and recommend.

  Our family loved the stay and the apartment, especially the attention of Doris who was very nice and helpful. HOWEVER, , I was told that the apartment was to be cleaned Thursday or Friday morning before we arrived, but the same day as soon as we started to unpack,the entire apartment floor at a glance seemed cleaned but barefooted without having left the apartment we all had black feet. Under the beds it was extremely dusty, noticeable that it had not been cleaned for a very long time, we bought paper towels to handle the stove and microwave oven, since it was filthy and full of grease, the kitchen sink was full of sand. We decided not to complain at that moment because this would have taken time from our vacation, there was nothing to do at that moment but handle it and clean what we were using but it was quite uncomfortable. The kids room wood bed had so much dust that we had to put a bed sheet to cover the drawers and shelfs so that my child would not get asma. We sent a email to the owner when he solicited the second payment which we had already paid in cash as instructed in the agreement, but it seem he had no knowledge of it, but we did want to let him know, so that next clients wont have the same impression. It is part of the payment so we expected it to be clean its unfortunate to get that impression when the apartment is truly nice. And most importantly we are there to relax on vacation not to clean. Other than that the place is nice and very private. Near La Parguera, Boqueron and other nice places.

  La verdad es que este apartamento es excelente para tomarse unas vacaciones. Su ubicación, layout, limpieza y facilidades son excelentes. Las fotos son exactas a la realidad, por lo que ya tenía una idea de que esperar. Quisiera agradecerle a Doña Doris por su excelente trato, no puede haber mejor anfitriona, realmente nos hizo sentir como en casa. Tanto que pensamos alquilarlo nuevamente pronto. Recomiendo esta propiedad 100%, no se arrepentirán.

  It was the greatest experience. The lady in charge of giving us the keys was an Angel, she was always available, gave us great inf. about all the surrounds . The Condo was beautiful, clean and safe. It includes things like: beach chairs, Coolers in different sizes, Beautiful beach towels ( a lot of them), toys for the sand and more. The kitchen was well equipped with everything, a lot of stuff like aluminum foil,napkins, paper towels, coffee filters, detergents... So before going to the store check the Condo. The bathroom towels were beautiful ( a lot of them) and big (RL) there is also an air mattress, movies, and always the perfect view. The good beaches are nearby and a lot to do: Boqueron, La parguera, Playa Santa... We spent time in another place after this one, and it was so disappointing compare to this place. Enjoy!

  We were blown away. Doris, the prop manger, was great. Great sunsets,close to El Faro and several beaches. The pool needs some cleaning/work and the Kids would not even get in. Otherwise, Very Highly reccomended.

  Owner response: We deeply regret the issue with the pool. Last week, we filed a complaint with the manager of the complex. They acknowledged the issue and, as a result of repeated complaints by residents and other guests, cancelled the contract with the pool maintenance company working at that time. We have a new supplier now and expect not to have pool maintenance issues in the foreseeable future. We would like to have you back next year. I will personally make sure everything is in proper order before your arrival. Looking forward.

  Our stay in the apartment was excellent. Since we arrived the first thing we enjoyed was the sea view, the apartment was very comfortable and spacious, very well equipped and had a good location. Combate beach was very close and very quiet. Both rooms have air conditioner, pillows, towels, everything was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer. The person who received us was very friendly and served us very well. The pool was perfect and had a beautiful ocean view. The place also have a gym with sauna. We were 5 people and slept very well. I would really recommend this place because it has an excellent location, was very comfortable and clean. Nuestro estadia en el apartamento fue excelente. Desde que llegamos lo primero que nos encanto fue la vista al mar que tiene el lugar. Este apartamento (6to piso) es bastante espacioso y comodo, muy bien equipado y tiene una excelente localizacion. La playa de Combate estaba bastante cerca y era muy limpia y tranquila. Ambos cuartos tenian aire acondicionado, almohadas, toallas y todo estaba muy limpio. La cocina tenia estufa con horno, nevera, microondas, lavadora y secadora. La persona que nos recibio fue muy amable y atenta, nos mostro todo el lugar y las facilidades. La piscina estaba perfecta y tenia vista al mar tambien. El lugar tambien tenia gimnasio con sauna. Nos quedamos 5 personas y descansamos muy bien. Verdaderamente recomiendo este lugar por su excelente localizacion, comodidad y limpieza.
