Why the Owner Chose Pointe Pirouette
We had a fantastic vacation at Point Pirouette - it is an exclusive area being the only privately owned peninsular on St Maarten - it is quiet and peaceful yet close to nightlife if you want it, and we love being on the water. There's amazing beaches just nearby, you don't feel like you are staying in a busy resort yet it feels safe with the 24hr security. We loved Anchorage because of the lovely large terrace & private pool as well as it being all on one ground floor level.

My husband and I are lucky enough to be based year round in the Caribbean - we look after a privately owned sailing yacht, (Brett is the Captain and I am the Chef) which charters through-out the Islands usually for a week at a time . We are both from England and having travelled all over the world we've found the Caribbean to be home from home. Just married in September 2009! We love spending time in St Maarten, there is such a great selection of restaurants to try out & the variety of beaches allow for a different experience every day...our favorites include Orient Beach, Plum Bay and of course our local, Mullet Bay.

The condo was very clean, full of everything we needed, close to lots of fun places and the owners were extremely kind! I definitely recommend the Anchorage! Our honeymoon was perfect!!!

My wife and I stayed at Anchorage for a week at the beginning of January, 2009. The place is incredible (it is very accurately represented by the pictures on this site). The pool and patio make for wonderful lounging and comfortable outdoor meals. The kitchen is well-appointed, with an incredible coffee machine. The location is also great in providing a wonderful balance between comfortably isolated serenity and ready access to St. Maarten's myriad white-sand beaches. Beautiful.

We have been visiting SXM for more than 30 yrs and have stayed all over the island (twice at another PP condo). Anchorage did not disappoint-- Two terrific weeks with the right balance of privacy, friendly neighbors, and a watchful security staff. Loved the view, pool deck, telescope, and high tech coffee maker! Did not use the kayak, but enjoyed early AM power walks around the nearby golf course. Jenny handled all housekeeping details, leaving us to savor every precious day at this great island location.

Staying at Anchorage was like staying in my home, but in St. Maarten. It was completely comfortable, homey and perfectly situated to nightlife. We had such a great time overlooking the water at night and cooking meals out on the deck grill. I would absolutely go back and stay at Anchorage again. Thanks!
