Thank you soo much for letting us stay at your apartment! We had such a great time! Laura & Irina were fabulous! They were a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful! We would definately recommend this rental. It is only a 10 minute walk to time square and the subway station is right outside your front door. There were 4 adults in our party and we had lots of room and were very comfortable.

Pros: Location is excellent. The unit is right beside subway station where multiple lines stop. The owner, Irina is friendly and helpful. It comfortably accommodates all 5 of us. Cons: There is 1 minor issue. Hi-speed internet is slow, especially in the day time. I assume it is due to high user traffic in the area.

Myself and three of my roommates had a fantastic 3 night stay at this apartment. It was in the most ideal location in Manhatten, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and the rent was extremely affordable for four university students. Irina, Laura, and Alex were all so accommodating as well with our travel schedules. I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends and look forward to staying here again myself. It definitely deserves 5/5!

NYC Visit

We loved our stay both NYC and the accommodations. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect - the subway entrance was located just a few feet from the building entrance adding to the convenience of getting around the city. It was one stop to Times Square and two stops to Rockefeller Center. Macy's was across the street. We were there in early December to enjoy the Christmas decorations and we were not disappointed. On my next trip to the city, I will try to rent this apt. again.

Four of us stayed in this property, while in New York for the marathon. It is the perfect location for getting around the city. The closest subway is just a couple of minutes away. The apartment was very clean and quiet - and the Empire State Building is right outside the bedroom window! Irina and Laura were excellent hosts and responded immediately to any questions we had. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

 Now that we are back home and our daughter is back in Vancouver, I wanted to write and express how much we thoroughly enjoyed your lovely city and the people of New York. All of whom we met were very warm and friendly. I know our daughter very thoroughly had a great time celebrating her 30th birthday there.  In particular, we all also, wish to tell you that our stay in your fabulous apartment went a long way to allowing us to enjoy your city. The comfort, convenience and luxury of your place made our visiting and sightseeing just so much easier and enjoyable.  Finally and most importantly, I specifically want to tell you how wonderful it was to deal with Irina and Laura. Everything was handled in such a prompt, courteous and professional manner but more than that, I could feel your kindness and compassion for our situation when we were having difficulty with our flight into snowbound New York. Your words of encouragement when we were stuck in the airport were very comforting. Girls Trip to NYC

With 4 girls sharing a bathroom, I thought it was going to be a challenge; but because of the space (even had a walk-in closet!) and mirrors in several rooms, it was not a problem at all. With quality furnishings, awesome location, and beautiful hosts - it was such value for money! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again; though book early as this property is super popular (the dates I want in 9 months from now are already booked out!) On a personal note; To Laura and Irina, it was lovely to meet you. Thank you sooo much! Our stay in NYC well and truly was a pleasure even before we got there because of your guidance and patience with so many of our questions before our stay. Please also thank the Concierge, they were super friendly!

My partner and I were over the moon with the apartment. We couldn't have asked for a better location (subway stop right outside the door) and it was very clean and extremely comfortable. My husband, I and our three children (22, 20 and 16 years) spent 5 nights in this apartment in August/September 2011 and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. When we arrived we were so impressed by the location and the size of the apartment. The bedroom and living room are very bigger, all bathroom needs are supplied and there was even some non perishable food items in the kitchen. The location is perfect: many tourist sites are within an easy walk or subway ride (Herald Square station is outside the building), the Empire State Building dominates the view from the windows (wonderful... and also a small part of Chrysler Building). Laura and Irina were very nice to work with: we have recommended this apartment to many friends and we hope to return to this fabulous city.

Great Apartment, Location, Location, Location. We could see the Empire state building outside the window, Macy’s across the street. Subway access a few yards from the main entrance. We stayed for a week. We wen't everywhere via the subway. After a while the street vendors said, “You must live around here, you look local” . It’s was a great place. It was easy to book and the owners were very nice. The whole family loved the place. We’ll be back.

My husband and I and our three children enjoyed our stay in NYC partly because of the convenience of this property. There is a subway stop right outside the door that will get you virtually anywhere in the city. Times Square was only 6 short blocks away. We walked there several times with little kids (5,7,and 8) with no issues. You will find whatever you need within a block or two walk. The apartment was not updated, but it was well kept and it was great amount of space for the price. It was enough room for all 5 of us and it beats staying in a cramped hotel room. I definitely recommend this propery again. Laura was extremely pleasant, helpful and sweet.

We came to New York for my 50th birthday all the way from Melbourne and had a wonderful stay. Who can fault a view of Macy's Christmas lights from the living room window?!! There is a subway station out the front door and at 34th street the apartment is a great base to see NYC from! Irena and Laura were so quick to respond to any queries and we comfortably fitted 4 adults and 2 teenagers in the large apartment. They were very helpful and welcoming and we had NO issue with New Yorks dreaded bed bugs here. We would recommend this place to any family travelling here

There are many favorable reviews on this property for a good reason, it is simply great. The view from the bedroom window will be the reason that I return! We were five adults and were very comfortable in the apartment. There is a major subway stop just outside the front door, it doesn't get any better. Other than the nice apartment, very reasonable rates and great location, I recommend this rental becaue Laura and Irina are wonderful to work with. I had the pleasure of meeting Irina during our stay in November of 2010, she was as kind and lovely as I thought she would be.

My husband and I took our two young (9 & 4) children to NYC for a family vacation and we were lucky enough to find this property available! The location is perfect, the apartment is quiet, comfortable and very clean, the building is safe and the view of the Empire State Building out the windows is unbeatable! Working with Laura and Irina was so nice from the very beginning! Laura even called us when we were late checking in (due to flight delays) to make sure that we were ok. Not many people do that and we are very impressed with the way everything was executed. We will definitely stay in this apartment again when we return to NYC and I have already recommended it to many of our friends! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great owners! Very attentive for every question we had along the planning stages. When we arrived, were greeted by a very helpful and friendly doorman. Just the perfect place to stay, your close to everything. Whole foods just a short walk so you can pick up a few things and wake up to a pot of coffee and relax with your breakfast, or make a light dinner . The experience was so much nicer then staying at a hotel. The apartment is BIG! quiet, clean and the lobby secure as that they have someone checking which make us feel completely at ease. We can only give our best review of this wonderful apartment. We stayed there for one + one week in March and April 2010 (the first week I, the man, stayed alone on a business trip and the second we all five in the family stayed together). And the flat was actually better - and much bigger - than the pictures show on this website. It's 100 percent clean with spacy rooms, an excellent double-bed in the sleeping room and a good couch in the tv-room for two people to sleep on. Bathroom is classic American, new and clean, and the kitchen with oven, dishwash-machine and big refridgerator has similar qualities. We were five people (two grown ups + our three children at 17, 15 and 10 years) and the apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs - instead of two hotelrooms which would have been both more expensive and with less "home"-feeling away from Denmark. The location close to Macy's, Empire State Building and Times Square makes it very convenient for a stay at Manhattan. The subway is just out of the door and has brillant connections downtown. The apartment lies in a very quiet, quite posh building with a concierge at the ground level and a 100 percent feeling of "safeness" in this huge city. We emailed a lot to Laura + Irina - the two ladies who owns the apartment - in the months before our stay and they replied instantly on our questions (like this: "is there any towels in the apartment?" ("yes"), "when can we meet when we come?" ("Sunday") etc. When we arrived from Denmark at the aiport in Newark we took the bus to the city (stops at 42nd street) + and continued to the flat from there in a taxi. When we headed home we took the airport train to Newark from Penn Station (in a walking distance to the apartment). Next time we will take the train both ways. It's cheaper, more easy and more quick. We will definately be using this apartment when we will visit New York City again. Also because our hosts - Laura + Irina - were very nice, helpful and thoughtful. That is a nice feeling when you are visiting one of the biggest cities in the world. We will definately come back to this apartment next time we'll visit NYC - and have already recommended it to friends and family that have similar plans (or dreams...). yours esben seerup odense, denmark

Better than any hotel

My wife and I spent 5 nights in this apartment in February 2010. We were so impressed by what we saw on VRBO and the level of service from Laura and Irina that we recommended the apartment to our neighbours even before we stayed there. When we arrived at the apartment there were two things that impressed us immediately; the location and the size of the apartment. The bedroom and living room are much bigger than what they look in the photos on VRBO. The kitchen and bathroom are more than adequate and there is plenty of cupboard space. All bathroom needs are supplied and there was even some non perishable food items in the kitchen. The location was perfect, Herald Square subway station is 10m from the front door of the building. The Empire State Building dominates the view from the bedroom window (it's on the same block) and Macy's is right across the road. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and will stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to this fabulous city.

We stayed for 5 nights from 13 to 18 May 2009. It was a great place to take time out from exploring New York. The location is great for Times Square, Theatres and access to the subway. The amenities are top class! The parquetry flooring in the apartment is just lovely. While there was just two of us we could appreciate how it would be able to accommodate a family quite easily. Finally the hosts are truly wonderful, from the booking and payment for the apartment to the final goodbye. A big thanks to Laura who looked after us while Irina was on holidays. Our stay in New York was fantastic and we highly recommend Laura and Irina's apartment.

Irina & Laura, Thank you for supplying this link so that we could let others know about our great experience with your apartment. The location was perfect for us, the subway, Madison Sq Garden, retail stores and Empire State Bldg, etc.were all within walking distance. Your apartment is huge, beautifully furnished,so comfortable and so affordable. All of this was enhanced by the unbelievable service we received from each of you. No matter how many questions during the months before we arrived, were all graciously answered including links to the relevant web sites. Our arrival in NY was delayed due to the weather at JFK. We were then caught up in Friday PM peak hour traffic. Although we arrived at Herald Square some 4 hours late, Laura was still waiting for us, even though she was now late for other appointments. We were greeted with great warmth and even taken to a nearby store to buy food etc for our stay. Hope the chocolates made up for it. Our holiday in NY was made so much more enjoyable due to your wonderful service and great apartment. We will be back.

My friends and I stayed at Laura and Irina's rental in March, and we absolutely loved it. The apartment is spacious and clean and the location cannot be beat! Also, Laura and Irina were incredibly kind and helpful...they even accommodated us after I figured out I had booked the wrong nights, only a couple of days before we left AND mailed us belongings we had left at the apartment! Thanks for everything! I will recommend this to anyone I know going to NY.

Laura, Irina, I'm terribly late but I found out only now that VRBO gives the chance to leave a comment, so... here I am. This apartment is the greatest headquarters ever for a stay in Manhattan, and the hostesses are wonderful persons too. We enjoyed a wonderfull nearly 4 weeks in this apartment from Dec 10, 08 to Jan 14 09, Laura met us at 1am in the freezing cold after we had flown nearly 20 hours from Australia, that started a beautifull vacation for us, the apartment was everything we wanted, location is 1st class right beside the subway, a stones throw to Broadway, Penn Station, Madison Sq Garden, Macys, Empire State plus so many more. We are telling all our friends when you visit New York this is the place to stay. Thank you Laura and Irena for all your hospitality, you made our holiday a very memorable one. We will be back.

We stayed here from Oct 9-14 and enjoyed that comfort of the apartment. It is a great location with easy access to the subways and is walking distance from many places we wanted to visit. There were plenty of towels and amenities to go around. The view from any window was great. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone who plan to visit New York. Also, we forgot something at the apartment when we left and the owner was determined to help us get our stuff back without hestitation. They were great.

This apartment exceeded our expectations. A great place to return home to after sightseeing and walking all day. Very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen. Great views of the Empire State Bldg. Herald Square is just far enough away (8-10 blocks)from the bright lights of Times Square. Perfectly located. Transportation very close. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a home away from home. AAA+

WOW! What a terrific place. The apt. is perfectly located, right off Broadway and 34th. Subway stop is just outside the front doors, and the 25 story building is watched by security. Laura met our family of 5, answered all our questions and even called back to be sure all was well! Everything was clean, with plenty of towels and linens. We have recommeded this apt. to all our friends and we are sure to return as well. A PERFECT PLACE !

This "guest review" is long overdue. We want to express our gratitude for enormously enjoying our stay in Laura/Irina's rental during our visit to New York. The place is spacious and beautiful and definitely "centrally" located. The apartment is fully equipped, everything is thought through to the littlest details - the best hotels, which we have stayed at, can not compare. But most of all we have enjoyed Laura's "customer service", which resembled royal treatment. Not a single e-mail, question or reasonable request went unanswered. Laura's caring for the guests went a long way: fresh flowers in a vase, crystal bowl with chocolate candies upon arrival and to top it all - huge and extremely delicious Russian chocolate bar given to us when we were leaving for the airport. Once again: many thanks, ladies, for making us feel at home. -Laura's and Irina's guests. P.S. Laura, please, do not get alarmed if you get a lot of telephone calls and requests for you rental: we intend to recommend Irina's and your place to all our friends, relatives and acquaintances.

First, Irina and Laura are fantastic, and very responsive to any needs. They handle the reservation, and stay in a friendly and professional manner. Secondly, the apartment, by NYC standards, is a mansion. The living room and bedroom are very spacious. While the apt is located in the heart of Manhattan, it is quiet and surrounded by low rise buildings so that the window "views" are not of the wall of the building next door, but of streetscapes and other buildings in the distance. Extremely convenient location. I'd go back to this apartment, and would definitely recommend it to others.

We've never enjoyed NYC so much. Laura and Irina's spacious, beautiful midtown apartment in a concierge building was outstanding. And the best part was Laura, who met us when we arrived, explained all, called to make sure we were comfortable,and when we left gave us a lovely candy bar. My mother was not nicer than that!

We very much enjoyed our week stay at Laura's mid-town apartment during our visit in May. The apartment was large and very quiet on the 8th floor in a building just a few storefronts from a subway station. We were handy to everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment itself was light and very comfortable for 3 adults. We had lots of hot water and more thick towels than we needed. The walkin closet had additional linens and blankets- all freshly laundered and ready. The kitchen had all the basics-and nearby places to get pastries and groceries. Laura thought about the details that make for a pleasant stay- and fresh flowers to greet us to boot. We would gladly stay here again.

My daughters and I were the first guests in this apartment after the renovations. Everything was new. It was a fabulous location and perfect for the 4 of us for our 5 night stay. Located close to the Empire State Building allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Laura and Irina were great and made sure we were looked after. I would recommend this apartment to anyone.
