"Smiling Bear Lodge" is located in the Riverbend community of Lake Lure, NC where Dirty Dancing and other movies were filmed. The home is an upscale cypress log home that has won photo awards for the unique exterior design and functional interior design. The home has a full above ground basement and three living levels with large covered porches on two sides to view the area wildlife, Broad River and Chimney Rock State Park.

Venture down the 160 step stairs to the beautiful Broad River to try your hand at the abundance of Rainbow Trout or go tubing, swimming or just sit in the rapids and relax.
