My name is Mary and my husband Charlie and I live in Manhattan and visit our home in Southampton frequently. We love going out there because it is an easy vacation nearby. We usually make it in under 2 hours, which is why we chose Southampton.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We spend a great deal of time swimming at the beach and bay or in Big Fresh Pond; all of which and near our home. There is also kayaking in the bay, as well as great biking, golf courses and horseback riding nearby. We have two children 7 and 9 and they love to play in the park, feed the ducks, go to the library or get ice cream. At home, they spend hours at a time jumping on the trampoline, playing ping pong and air hockey.

My girlfriends and I were looking for a last minute getaway on July 4th weekend and this worked out perfectly. Charlie was extremely accommodating, the house is as described and we all had a great time. Situated in a convenient location, I would recommend this as a great place to lay your head and come home too while you're out and about in the Hamptons.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My friends and I had an incredible time at this house. It's in a quiet location nestled in a woodsy-like area, with tons of outdoor entertaining space. We used it all - the BBQ, the trampoline, the ping-pong table, and deck space! We went for some gorgeous morning runs around the nearby fresh water pond as well. The listing photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities and it was clean and well-maintained. The owner was very attentive in answering questions via e-mail and telephone before and during the rental stay. I thought we were a little closer to the beach as mentioned in the description, but that was okay. I would highly recommend this house and we hope to re-visit this summer and definitely the next!!!
