This is a charming, small house,(1700 sq. Feet) with a warm, comfortable feeling. It's decorated in a shabby chic, Hampton's summery way.
It's for someone who can appreciate the charm, which includes some nicks and scratches, and would enjoy coming home to a bright, cheery, quiet refuge.
People almost always remark on how beautiful the house is, in a designed but super relaxed way. Therefore, entertaining is fun and pleasurable. The private front yard is great, as well as the deck in back.
Almost all of the original 1939-ish features are intact, and yet everything works well and is quite beautiful. The floors are painted white- but are very easy to maintain (I have 2 teenagers). The curtains are toile and the chair and sofas are covered in white denim (washable). There is a newly remodeled large bathroom off the master bedroom. It has 2 sinks, a jacuzzi bath, and separate shower. The master bedroom has beautiful French doors that open onto the deck (which includes a table with umbrella and 4 matching chairs. Extra wicker items may well be included if so desired.
We are very relaxed and friendly here, and so is the neighborhood, and would love to find a tenant who is fairly easy going and friendly. We are not looking for high maintenance tenants (though we want everything to work well for you). Loud partyers, arguers, etc. should look elsewhere. Well controlled cocktail parties, etc., are more than welcome.
Coming home from the beach and covering everything in sand is something you don't need to worry about.
