Our house is located on a small cove in a quiet fishing village and is a perfect spot for two couples or family to relax or explore all Nova Scotia has to offer.
30 minutes drive in one direction is Halifax with it's great restaurants, pubs, historic sites, museums, festivals and shopping. 25 minutes in the other direction is Peggy's Cove Lighthouse.
If you prefer a slower pace, stick around the house. Sit and stare at the ocean from the sitting room or head out to the boardwalk with coffee in hand. The boardwalk is also great place for afternoon 'walk'tails. A little farther afield, at the end of the road (7 minute walk) is a white sandy beach for sitting and swimming. A few minutes farther along is the Sandy Cove lighthouse. Continue walking along the coast over the 'moors' and you'll find yourself in Lower Prospect, yet another picturesque fishing village.

Why the Owner Chose Halifax
When I lived in Nova Scotia years ago I fell in love with the Terence Bay/ Lower Prospect area. The land, the scenery, the people, it's a wonderful place. While I was there, and since moving away, I continued to look for an opportunity to purchase a house. This house met all the requirements and so.....here it is. It's now the place where Kimberly and I want to be.
The Unique Benefits at this House
For me it's morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the boardwalk and mowing the lawn. For Kimberly it's picking berries for breakfast, stretching on the boardwalk and gardening.
Great miniature version of the Lower Prospect fishing village and surrounding area.

A perfect cottage by the shore experience! We stayed there in early July 2011 at the start of our first trip to Nova Scotia. The views were stunning, the lighthouse on the boulders was picture-perfect, and the board-walk to the gazebo made for the *best* early morning and late evening strolls. The bunkhouse worked great for my two teenage sons, but the boy who slept on the top bunk was a little freaked out by the nails protruding from the ceiling. My teenage daughter loved her "daisy bed" and my partner and I found the master bedroom large and comfortable, with instant access to the bunkhouse. We all enjoyed the grill and fire pit out back and constant cooling bay breezes that flowed through the house. The house is equidistant from Halifax and Peggy's Cove, so for folks new to the region, it was a wonderful location and a photographer's DREAM. We would DEFINITELY return! *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*
