We came to Juniper Cottage as “refugees” from the Tea Fire that damaged our home on 11/13- Unable to go home, unwilling to stay in a hotel, we were lucky enough to have a connection with SB Vacation rentals- My husband and 15 year old daughter were thrilled to move into a comfortable, clean and quiet space- In addition to dealing with the fire issues, I also was coping with frail elderly parents- Coming to this cottage was a healing experience for me. Each morning I feel transported to a happier time as I sat with my coffee and stared at the Miramar painting above the dining room table (I lived near the Miramar in the 70’s). We celebrated Thanksgiving here and our older daughter’s 19th birthday- We go back to Conejo Rd tomorrow for rebuilding, but 215 Natoma will be forever a part of our hearts- a place of solace when we so desperately needed one. We totally enjoyed our visit to your lovely cottage! You have everything anyone would need to enjoy Santa Barbara! The beds are comfy, the yards are perfect to sit and enjoy the coastal sunshine! We especially enjoyed dining around the candlelit table. The bikes came in handy also! We came to Santa Barbara for our youngest daughter's graduation from UCSB. The home was perfect for us, our friends, and our 2 grown daughters!
