This house is wonderfully located close to Tahoe City where there is great shopping and dining. Two blocks from the house there are great hiking, biking, and cross country skiing trails. The lake is 2 blocks walking distance from the house with great beach access. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar Ski Resorts are 15-20 minute drive.
This is a beautiful custom built home with new designer furniture. The house has an open floor plan with approximately 3100 square feet and large architectural windows throughout. The living/dining room has a large rock fireplace which opens into the gourmet kitchen. The dining room has a beautiful cherry table that seats 12 comfortably. The dining/ living room opens into the backyard that is great for entertaining.
There is also a separate great room with a new sectional sofa. This room has high ceilings and a great view of the outdoors. This room includes a pool table, foosball table, kitchen/bar area, flat screen TV with DVD, stereo with iPod dock & surround sound.
The gourmet kitchen has 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, 2 ovens, microwave, granite counters and a large center island that is perfect for entertaining. Everything in the kitchen is new including the dishes, pots & pans, and all small appliances. There is a kitchen nook/table perfect for sharing breakfast and great family gatherings
The house has 4 bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have large windows and views of the forest. Two bedrooms have master suites with private baths. The third bedroom has two twins and the 4th room has 2 sets of bunk beds. The great room has a queen sleeper sofa bed. The house sleeps 10-12 comfortably.
The house has a laundry/mud room with a new washer/dryer (front loaders). There is a large oversized 2 car garage that is perfect for a suburban and extra storage space for skis and snowboards. Both the front and backyard have been professionally landscaped and fenced and include a BBQ, outdoor eating area, hot tub, stereo speakers, and sandbox that is great for children.
