Presenting Half Moon; a new, luxury rental on Elbow Cay in the gorgeous Abaco Islands of the Bahamas. It is said every view in Hopetown is a lovely one, but the stunning ocean view at Half Moon requires no tiptoes or binoculars as nothing but beach stands between you and the Atlantic. Honeycomb Rocks border the sandy beach creating a private enclave for Half Moon residents. The spectacular views from the covered porch change as the day progresses; sunrise with the cliff to left of the property is a glorious way to begin the day. Family and friends will enjoy sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling and sandcastle building all just steps from your home away from home. No transportation is required to have the ocean lapping at your feet, and those salts can be rinsed away in a spacious, private, al fresco shower. The outdoor dining and lounging area is outfitted with Indonesian teak furniture and deluxe cushions creating a living space as comfortable and luxurious as the one indoors.
Inside everything one requires for comfort is available. The designer kitchen is open to the great room and contains all the equipment your 'chef' needs to make a gourmet meal....or the perfect sandwich. Our decorator created the perfect conversation area with unobstructed views using quality upholstered furniture. Indulged in a little too much sun? Curl up in an armchair with a book and let the powerful air conditioning cool you down. Watching a movie on our 52" flat screen tv in the living room or 37" tv in the master suite and the island power goes off? No worries - the house is equipped with an automatic back up generator that operates the entire house. Half bath off the great room is conveniently located. The master suite is on main living floor as well; its elegant four poster bed, luxury linens and comfortable sitting area combine to create a romantic atmosphere. The master bath is spacious, with quality fixtures. Pull the pristine, white, waffle weave curtain aside to soak the sun and sand away in an impeccably clean bathtub.
The stairs lead to three additional bedrooms. Each of the rooms have high thread count linens, quality mattresses and private bathrooms. A large capacity washer and dryer as well as an additional refrigerator are located here for convenience. Easy access to the patio with lots of patio furniture,barbeque and private beach via the door inches from your bedroom!
Golf carts are available for rental to explore the island. Dining options are varied; Abaco Inn is island elegance by candlelight and On Da Beach bar and grill can be enjoyed in your bikini.
