Very private, secluded and serene...this lovely 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Custom Home is spacious with an open floor plan, vaulted, wood beamed ceilings, a wood burning stove and central heat and air conditioning. Nestled among among the oaks on 10 hillside acres, this special home with pool and deck, overlooks the Alexander Valley and vineyards with the Russian River running through it, and is only minutes from charming, historic Healdsburg, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country.

Kokopelli Country Retreat is child friendly and the 3 well appointed bedrooms include one king and two queen beds, with comfy linens and bedding, accommodating 2 to 6 guests with privacy, and two queen sofa beds, one in the upstairs living room sitting area and one in the downstairs den, provide for 4 more guests, allowing up to10. The home is equipped with DirecTV, with one TV in the upstairs Great Room and one TV in the downstairs den and Wi-Fi internet access throughout. With an abundance of windows and glass sliders, beautiful views of the glory of nature are on display all around you!

Two more decks, a covered patio and a lawn area on the back side of the house allow for more enjoyment of the outdoors. The kitchen is large and well equipped with a gas range and convection oven, dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, pantry items and all the essentials for gourmet cooking, with a propane BBQ out side the kitchen. Well designed for entertaining, the spacious and open living area also includes 2 sitting areas and a dining room. If you listen carefully, you may hear the flute of the Kokopelli as he dances and plants seeds for Mother Nature!

Our guests may enjoy the bounty of the fruit trees and garden. In season the property produces fruit from its trees and vines: figs, grapefruit, navel and mandarin oranges, Eureka and Meyer lemons, Kaffir Limes (leaves for Thai cuisine), a variety of apples (including Gravenstein, Arkansas Black, and Jonathans), pear apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, persimmons, pomegranates, pear cactus, black walnuts, and table grapes. The garden also produces perennials: strawberries, artichokes, rhubarb, Thai cilantro, mint and other herbs. In season, there may be fava beans, fresh garlic, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, celery, cabbages, broccolli, eggplant, and corn. Other items are available as the season determines.

Day passes to the Parkpoint Health and Swim Club are available for $15/day for adults, $10/day for children 10-16, and $6/day for children 9 and under. This premier club has it all, with heated lap, aqua exercise, and children’s pool; weight and exercise machines; exercise, yoga, and Pilates classes; all styles of massage; snack bar; etc.

Ideally located for exploring the diversity of Sonoma County Wine Country, this Alexander Valley Hillside Retreat is a perfect ‘home base’, where you can relax and ‘soak it all in’ or venture out, in any direction, for enjoying the many ‘adventures’ nearby! With an abundance of more than 100 award-winning wineries within a ½ hour’s drive, in the Alexander, Dry Creek, Russian River, Sonoma, and Napa Valleys, as well as the towns of Healdsburg, Calistoga, St. Helena, Sonoma, and Napa; you will likely need at least a week to explore, experience, and enjoy it all! Return again and again for more relaxation and rejuvenation!
