A beautiful drive heading west from Robbinsville. As you meander along the shore of Lake Santeetlah then winding through the mountains alongside the Cheoah River all the way to the dam at Lake Cheoah with lake views up the hill to the cabin.

During your stay you can catch up on your reading, play board games or simply relax and enjoy the view.

If you are looking for excitement there is white water rafting and kayaking on Cheoah and Natahala River, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Casino, Maggie Valley, nature and wildlife at Cades Cove, swimming and boating on Lake Santeetlah & Fontana or take a drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge for a fun filled day. More attractions are: Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Tsali Recreation Area with 39 miles of hiking trails, Fontana Dam and overlook, Cherohala Skyway with mile high views a 40 mile scenic drive, Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center, Bryson City Train Rides, local festivals and events.

Let's not forget the FISHING! Only 2.5 miles to Lake Cheoah & Calderwood with small boat access and lakeside fishing or a 15 minute drive to Lakes Santeetlah or Fontana. First class deep cold water fishing.

Great back roads for scenic drives like Tail Of The Dragon and Cherohala Skyway. Perfect for the "Minis" and sports car enthusiast.

  • Breathtaking, what can we say, an absolutely beautiful place. God's country for sure. My wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary riding in the Smokies. This home made our time very satisfying. We will be back for sure. The view was awesome! Thank You Lynne for sharing your home with us!

  • Our first trip to the Smokies was made even better by having the pleasure of staying at this wonderful house. The views were spectacular. The house was clean and everything was as described at this website. We enjoyed every aspect of the vacation, but finding this house was absolutely the best part. Lynne was very easy to deal with and responded to all my questions promptly. It may take us a couple of years, but we would love to come back again. Our experience with Lynne and this house will make us look for similar places everywhere we travel to in the future. If we can find experiences like this everywhere we will never stay in a hotel again.

  • The view from this cabin is FABULOUS! The cabin itself was wonderful as well. Everything was very clean, comfortable and well kept. The deck with its patio furniture and gas grill was amazing. We hope to go back to the cabin again as soon and as often as possible!! Dealing with Lynne was not only easy but pleasant as well. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away to a private, cozy location with a breathtaking view.

  • This cabin located in the Smokie Mountains and overlooking the beautiful mountains and Lake Cheoah, was an experience that my wife and I enjoyed and will return to.This is the place for anyone who wants to get away for a private and romantic getaway or enjoy all the different types of outdoor activites. The cabin is designed with wonderful decor that feels very cozy and comfortable. We have never been to a vacation spot anywhere else in the U.S. that had a more breathtaking view from the deck outside or from inside the living areas.The kithen had everything we needed and grilled outside on the clean gas grill. WE WILL BE RETURNING OFTEN!
