Mountaintop Experience is one of the best! I really don't know where to start, the view, the location, the cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, etc., was just perfect. Thanks for caring and sharing your cabin with us.

Your cabin was a great place for 2 families to spend a week together, making memories that we will cherish for years to come! We had 3 children between us, ages 1, 5 & 10, so space to spread out was a must. The cabin was well-laid out & provided plenty of entertainment options for a few rainy afternoons. We loved the views & peacefulness from the decks, as well as being able to get away from the more touristy activities in Pigeon Forge. Everything in the cabin was just as it was pictured on the website, and very, very clean. We would highly recommend statying at this cabin to anyone, and hope to return someday ourselves. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin withour families!

First of all I would like to say thank-you!!!! Thank-you for letting my family enjoy your beautiful cabin!! It was an amazing experience to all of us!! My mother in- law has never been on a vacation, so this first time experience was a forever memorable one!! We did so many things while we were there. The weather was absolutely wonderful. Too hot at times when we were there it got to 103!!!! That was sooo hot!! lol But there is not one thing that I would have to complain about. Lori was easy to talk to and she responded very promptly to my e-mails every time. Thank you again!!! The Gault Family

This was our fourth cabin rental in Wears Valley, which is the best location in the Smokies. Wears Valley is close to the action at Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but far enough to be “in the mountains” rather than the commercialism of those areas. This cabin was more than we expected and we have stayed in some really nice cabins on our previous visits. This is cabin is the BEST. Why? The view from the back, which can be seen from living room couch, is awesome. We saw many of the faces of the mountains. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The owners really do go the extra mile to make this the best cabin in the Smokies. It is all the little things, like stocked spices, extra dishes and supplies in the kitchen rather than just the basics that all cabins are expected to provide. The boys enjoyed the pool table and having their own space. I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin. My family cannot wait to return.

This cabin is breathtaking -it has a 180 degree panoramic, unobstructed view. I contacted Lori, on short notice, and she answered my email right away. She was very helpful, gave us perfect directions, and lots of interesting information about the area.. The cabin is beautiful, it is perfectly decorated and very comfortable. This cabin is a homerun-view, luxury, and really great owners. What more could you ask for? I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin. My husband and I are trying to figure out when we can return.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your "Wilderness Lodge". It was more than we expected. My family cannot stop talking about how great our vacation was mostly due to the beautiful lodge that we had on the top of the mountain. We would leave in the morning to go Horseback Riding, Zipline down the mountain, tube the Little River and eat loads of great food, but it was always a joy to return home to the beautiful lodge on the top of the mountain. Family rates trip as the best ever.

This visit was awesome! We loved Monopoly and the pool table. Tubing was the best of all, except for fishing. We caught 18 fish! Becca loved horseback riding. The horse's name was Kit. The baby black bears at Cades Cove were cute. We saw lots of bunnies, too. Great cabin, great site and view. Enjoyed it! Thank you!!

This was a spectacular first visit to this "cabin" and the Smokies. As a pair of artists we each did 5 paintings. Margaret is oil and I'm pastel and water color. It was too hot, but we did find shady spots. I never knew that a cabin would have all the amenities! i.e. A/C, dishwasher, etc. Some went hiking and biking (not motorized) and shopping to help the economy! Thanks for sharing such a great place!

What a theatre, just sitting in the living room! The panoramic views of the mountains are right there, no need to even get up off the sofa to see them! This was a great way for our family to kick back and reconnect just before the holiday frenzy. We'll be back...Thanks for sharing!

I second the motion! The views and hot tub are the main reasons we do this trip every year! After you took the time to come out and get it fixes, we used it 3 more times! We are so happy!! We have been coming to Wear’s Valley for 8 years. Now we have finally found our favorite place! we will be back. The views are tremendous-as promised. The TVs are perfect for college football! And the decorations are perfect w/o being overt. We really appreciate fixing the hot tub on Saturday.

We have loved your beautiful cabin it is so comfortable and homey. We hate to leave the breath-taking view. We couldn’t take our eyes off those mountains from ar lit dawn til purple sunset. The highlight was seeing 5 bears on the walk to Laurel Falls. Michael an Mary-Kingsport, TN, Marshall, Jennifer, Felf and Ethan Sevenoaks, England ps the boys LOVED the game room.

We decided to go on our weekend vacation at the spur of the moment and feel so fortunate to have been able to get your vacation home. We love it here and have even thought about using this plan as our retirement home. I can only imagine how beautiful this home is at Christmas and the view in the fall. We are definitely going to have to come back. The alcove in the master bedroom is so cute! That is going to be a project for my husband when we get home. We loved the way the kitchen was placed in the home-you initially think is is small-but actually is very large. My husband and I come to Townsend a couple of times a year I found myself just wanting to stay at the cabin and chill instead of site seeing. There is only one thing we missed-which was internet access. You have a very lovely home. We wish you all the best and may God bless.

Wow what a great house! The view off of the back deck is amazing. So fun to watch the clouds and storms roll in around the mountains. Also enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and pool. Great place and we had an awesome long weekend.

Thanks so much for sharing the "wildernesss lodge" with us! While the rain kept us in a white cloud for most of the weekend, it was fascinating to watch the clouds move in and out, occasionally giving us sneak peaks of the view. This morning we awoke to the sun and finally got to experience the awesomeness of these wonderful mountains that we so dearly love! We had a wonderful trip. The weather was about the best we've had in the twenty years we've been coming to the Smokies. The cabin was beautiful and so was the view. It was the first cabin we had been in that gave such a tremendous view from simply sitting on the couch in the living room. My son and daughter and I would fish after we came in from hiking and catch a few. We appreciate you renting your place to us. I would certainly recommend your cabin to our friends.

Thank you for sharing your cabin. Everything is perfect. The mountain views are incredible. The location is just right, not too close in, not too far out. This cabin is private and tastefully well-appointed for relaxation. Unlike so many cabins, this one is well-stocked with all the incidentals, utensils, etc. We stay here every year and I always leave refreshed and renewed. Thanks again.

What a beautiful cabin and breathtaking view. Your cabin was just the perfect place for our family Thanksgiving. The kids loved the game room. We saw a black bear in Gatlinburg as well as snow and ice on the mountains. God is so good to us. He made this awesome place for all to enjoy. I've had such a wonderful time at A Wilderness Lodge. I will always remember how special it is. The cabin was a perfect vacation to relax. I enjoyed having my coffee on the porch-just me and God's beautiful creation.

This cabin has a magnigicent view - we had such a wonderful time sitting on the large deck all weekend enjoying the view of the mountains. The cabin is decorated very nice and I can't wait to go back! Thanks for such a wonderful place.

I can't begin to express our gratitude and enjoyment of your lovely cabin. After driving for the better part of a day, it was so nice to discover how beautiful the place was. The Christmas tree and decorations were the perfect finishing touches to accompany the breathtaking view. Between shopping sprees, Dollywood, Ober Gatlinburg, and our Christmas family traditions, this vacation has surpassed all of our wildest expectations. We've all grown to love Wilderness Lodge and hope to return here for many years to come.
