The water was a little too cold in the lazy river but, we had fun in the heated pools instead. We definitely want to come again this summer when things warm up. "The Warners"

  We really enjoyed our short vacation at Phoenix on the Bay. I can't say enough about this condo! Perfect location and beautiful view. The condo itself is cute and roomy. It's the perfect place if you enjoy boating and fishing. The pool was still a little cold but we enjoyed floating around the lazy river. If you like the beach, it's just a short ride by car or boat. My husband was ready to call the owner and make an offer!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

  Our Spring Break turned out wonderful after all. The pool was cold but my son could't stay out of it. We plan to come back this summer when it's warmer. Tina was great to work with and made sure everything was ready for us. If you are looking for a clean and relaxing condo you can stay here. Phoenix on the bay II is a very nice resort and the kids all enjoyed going to the shops and the movies at the wharf. The view from our balcony was beautiful at night with the lights and boats going out to the gulf. Five Stars!!

  What can I say? - we had a blast. The water slide and lazy river were awesome. The condo was cute, clean and perfect for us. Make sure you check out the glass blowing exhibit that is located close to this resort. Our family participated in the art show and we had fun. The seafood restaurant was close (Doc's) it has the best shrimp in town. We walked to the park several times because the sidewalks along Canal road are great. Make sure you ride the Ferris Wheel at the Wharf because you can see all the way over to the beach. We went at sun set and the view was spectacular. The owners are wonderful to work with and took time to answer all of our questions. The kids loved the Monkey Room. We plan to make this an annual event.

  Before we rented this unit we told the owner that we were looking for a condo to return to every winter. When we arrived there was a broken toilet lever on top of the toilet tank. There was no furnace filter-the dirty one was lying crunched up in the furnace closet. They are an odd size so we could not replace it ourselves. Half the light bulbs were burned out including those over the dining table. The dirt and dust was literally hanging from the vent covers in the bathrooms and we had to borrow a screwdriver from maintenance to get them off to clean them.The arm of the sofa was broken. The oven was covered with a layer of grease which in turn had covered the light fixture in the kitchen. The curtain and frame at the front door were moldy. We had to buy mopheads (the ones there were too dirty to even use) to clean all the floors twice over with Pine Sol to try to freshen the air. There were spilled drinks and candy wrappers behind the beds. We had to take all the bedspreads, dust ruffle and throw rugs to the laundromat. The shower curtain was disgusting and the liner moldy. We had to scrub the balcony furniture and wash all the windows so we could see out. All the vertical blinds needed straightened and some were lying on the floor. There was not enough silverware and all the baking pans were rusted. The most disappointing part of our experience was that the owner told us that she was coming on a Sunday to fix the broken arm of the couch and clean behind the washer and dryer but she never showed and never called while we waited for her. To her credit she did send someone early in our stay to replace the furnace filter, repair a broken light switch and replace the bulbs at the dining table. Also, the remote control for the TV did not work and after a couple of weeks we were asked if we could buy one and then we deducted the cost along with the other items we had purchased from our final payment. When the owner finally came one day in February to look at the arm of the sofa and we complained about the cleanliness when we arrived, her response was " We will do a deep cleaning when you leave." REALLY!!!

  Owner response: This couple gives "Snow Birds" a bad name. They are upset because I refused to rent to them in the future due to excessive complaining. The cleaning company we use came and addressed all items within the first couple of days of their four month stay. The couch was to be repaired but they were gone when the scheduled appointment came. They deducted several unnecessary items from the final payment which was wrong. Please read the other reviews as they are more truthful of our beautiful condo. Thanks and Happy Vacation Planning!!

  Our condo was clean and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable with all the things you would need to enjoy your stay. We will definitely return.

  We absolutely loved everything about our stay EXCEPT unless you select a unit with a perfect view of the pool, there is NOT anywhere you can go on the property to get a picture of the pool area! We so wanted to send a pic to family and friends so that they would want to stay there too!
