I highly recommend this lovely home! As other reviewers have mentioned, the pictures don't even do the property justice. The house was impeccably clean, the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and high quality appliances, and the bedrooms are huge and luxurious! It is clear that this is a well-loved home and that the owner has put a lot of thought into the little details. Our group was there in February, so we couldn't take advantage of the swimming pool of course, but we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, which is quite large, as well as the stone fireplace in the living room and the sauna. The kid in our group had a great time with the trampoline. The house is also in a particularly convenient location for skiing at Heavenly. Finally, the owner and manager are very friendly and extremely helpful. Jeff, the owner, was so easy to work with and we were really impressed by the house manager, Jody. We discovered on Saturday night that we had blown a fuse, so we called Jody so he could tell us where the circuit breaker was. Since we had him on the phone anyway, we just mentioned that the microphone for the karaoke machine seemed to be broken, not because we were expecting to use it then but just so he would be aware. Well, much to our surprise Jody showed up that night, around 10pm, with a new microphone and a smile on his face! I have never had a more pleasant experience with the owner and manager of a rental property. Thank you Jeff and Jody!

This is an amazing place! We have stayed twice and it's been wonderful both times! Home is top of the line and backyard is perfect for adults, kids, and families!

Our extended family stayed here in late June. The oldest was 87 and the youngest 3 and it was perfect for everyone. The property was as described, but prettier inside than pictures could depict. It was very clean inside and the pool and hot tub were cleaned regularly. Owner was very easy to deal with via email and property manager(?) was easily accessible for any questions. I would highly recommend it for a family since there is much to do right on the property (pool, trampoline, hot tub, pool table) so you don't have to go looking for entertainment. Cool for beach weather when we were there, but warm in back yard by pool so we felt no urgency to go anywhere else. Back yard is secluded, so nice, but "filtered view of lake" is accurate.

This is a beautiful, well maintained house in a great location. We spent Christmas here and were close to skiing, walking distance to Lake Tahoe and had a wonderful and comfortable house in which to be together with our children and grand child. We highly recommend this property.

This was the best place we have ever rented. Exceeded expectations. The property manager and owner were great and sooo accommodating. We had an event here and lots of people were comfortably accommodated. Casinos are close lake is in view, the backyard is just breath taking. The rooms were all nice and were very tastefully decorated as everyone says, the pics don't do justice to this place. We all agreed that we would have to come back next year. With all that this place has, if someone is considering a cheaper rental just remember all the cash you can save by being here and not wanting to leave and spend elsewhere on entertainment. And this place is a steal, I was here in off season also so what we got for what we paid was an amazing value and I really couldn't be happier with the everything.

WOW....We rented Jeff's home in Zephyr Cove for a week with our children and had an awesome time! We had 10 adults, 4 kids and 2 babies and there was plenty of room for us all. We spent many hours in the heated swimming pool and hot tub. The Karaoke machine was a huge hit along with the pool table. There was never a dull moment! The wide open view in the back yard of the Jeffery pines is beautiful and the 5 minute walk to the Lake was a breeze. The little guys even had fun! Jeff was amazing to work with and was very accommodating besides his friendly demeanor. The house is fully stocked with anything that you would need to have a wonderful vacation! Thank you Jeff!!!!

We rent houses off of VRBO every year from Santa Cruz to Tahoe and this may be the best yet. Some of the great features are, plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, glasses and wine glasses for a large crowd. The kitchen appliances are great and the island is perfect with the extra sink. Another great feature is the furniture, it was nice to have plenty of places for everyone to sit, even the outside furniture is abundent. Nice big back yard, large pool, great hot tub, steam room and trampoline. The backyard backs up to the forest which is great and it's an easy walk to the water, no beach area, but the kids could easily jump off of the rocks and have a good time. The backyard has a see through fence so you can see into the neighbor's yards, but it was not an issue. The bedrooms and beds are all great and a pull out couch upstairs. The pool table is great and all of the tv's are a bonus. Take the upstairs master if you get a choice, the bathroom is fabulous, the room is huge and it has a private balcony with a view of the lake. Lastly, use the bikes, it was great riding around the area and seeing the neighborhood. Thank you Jeff!

I have rented a few different properties on vrbo and this experience was by far the most impressive. First of all, Jeff, the property owner, was great. He was easy to work with and made himself accessible for any questions or concerns. He was service oriented and simply a really nice guy. On to the property... The pictures do not do it justice. The pics for this listing are well done and were a huge part of convincing me to rent this property but upon arrival we were blown away at the luxurious setting. It easily slept the 12 of us (we could've fit more) and the amenities made our stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, out door fire pit, trampoline, bbq, steam shower, pool table. The list goes on and on. The kitchen was fully stocked and made our meal prep super easy. The house is in a great neighborhood about 10 minutes from the Casinos & Heavenly and about a mile down a trail from the lake. We even went snowmobiling through the Zephy Cove Resort right down the road. I highly recommend checking that out. I cannot say enough about how awesome our stay was. The only negative thing I can think of is that I didn't book the place for the whole week and stay to enjoy it longer! I will definitely choose this place again for the next group trip I take to Tahoe. Worth every penny!

I hosted my 30th birthday weekend at Jeff's place and it blew back what little hair I have left! Family and friends ages 30-60 flew from both coasts, and to say the weary travelers were greeted with an amazing property would be a gross understatement. The pictures of the house drew me in, but they really do it no justice. The house has absolutely everything one could ever wish for in a rental... and more. The jockeying over bedrooms was like the first episode of a season of the Real World. Each of the 5 beautifully decorated rooms had it's own individual charm: space, size of bed, view, attached bathroom, and not a soul was disappointed (I successfully vowed to take a shower in each bathroom in the house because each had such distinct vibe and style). And to top it all off, I didn't even discover the sauna until the day before we left! Another element that set it apart from other rentals is the quality of the appliances and odds and ends. Panasonic flat screens, viking range, huge outdoor gas grill, and a pool table and karaoke machine to boot. From sun up to sun down the house begged to be used for entertainment. We hosted a bbq one night, an omelet bar the next morning, and cocktail hour that night. It's set up beautifully for all of those events. Lounging poolside, trampoline jumping, sunning on the back patio, more cocktails by the fire pit and in the jacuzzi - we literally made use of every magnificent square inch of this house. As if that wasn't enough, LOCATION, LOCATION LOCATION - the house is about 50 yards from the lake shore, a 3 minute drive to the grocery store, and a $10 cab ride to the State Line Casinos. Your stay can be as serene, or as active as you want. It pleases no matter what you're looking for. It sounds like I'm gushing, but when you rent this place you'll see that it's 100% accurate. Do yourself a favor and rent this house.

My family stayed here while in Tahoe for daughter's wedding at Zephyr Cove. We hosted a get-together the night everyone arrived and a brunch the day following the wedding. Had everything we needed, serving dishes, glasses, etc. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam shower, jacuzzi tub, game room, and the trampoline. The younger(adults) crowd enjoyed the karoake machine. Used bikes for a bike ride. Very convenient to Zephyr Cove. It was set up wonderfully. We had a great time. Loved working with Jeff.

Amazing Rental!Great for Groups - Even better in person!

A large group of our friends rented this house in August 2010 and had a wonderful experience! First off, the photos do NOT do this place justice. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL with a top of the line kitchen, amazing bathrooms, great common areas (inside and out) and luxurious bedrooms. It is a great place to go with a group of friends. The common areas are perfect for hanging out in large or small groups and the bedrooms/bathrooms provide plenty of privacy. Barely anyone had to share a bathroom (except for 2 couples on the second floor). We enjoyed all of the amenities during our stay. The pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, grill, karaoke machine, in-ground trampoline (yes you heard right)…the list goes on! And the location was fantastic – close to the casinos and Zephyr Cove but private enough to feel like you are in the wilderness. Our group would HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful, high-end Lake Tahoe vacation and we hope to return some day!

All 13 of us (ages 4 to 70) had a wonderful time. The house/property was ideal for a large group - enough activities to keep the younger family members busy, and plenty of room so that everyone had their own "space." The pool, sauna, and steam shower were big hits! We also made good use of the bicycles...the trail to the Zephyr Cove marina/beach was fun to bike. Whether you are looking for relaxation or activity, this place has it. The pictures don't lie - truly a beautiful home!

We had a large family gathering of my adult children and their children. We had chosen this property particularly because of the swimming pool. It gave the kids - & some adults - an activity that was always available and could really wear them out. We enjoyed the karoke (and you need to find the box with the large assortment of available songs). The game room was also really convenient so that the younger folks could play pool or watch TV while we older folks had our glass of wine on the back deck. Jeff is fantatic to work with. He is definitely accomodating. Look forward to doing business with him again.

The property was everything we required and more. We rented the home for a girls reunion trip/wedding shower and there was more than enough room for all 14 of us. Many of the girls have very discerning tastes, and everyone was exceedingly satisfied with appearance, cleanliness and the décor. The owner Jeff was also very effortless to work with and always responded in a timely manner. The location was close to all activities and in a very quiet upscale neighborhood. We were also very happy upon arrival to be greeted with a large basket full of goodies and a kind note from the owner. Every detail was taken care of and I will definitely come back in the future and recommend this property to all of my family, friends, and clients.

We rented this place for a meet-up of old friends and it very easily fit all 16 of us. If you're looking for luxury in Tahoe, this is it! The neighborhood was quiet and close to the water. I've already recommended the property to two friends planning activities there later this year. Highly recommend!!

I was a little skeptical when I first arrived because most properties don't come close to looking like the pictures. But let me tell you, it was in spectacular shape and the luxurious amenities were bountiful. The atmosphere around the home is of rural elegance with filtered views of the Lake and the forrest, it is beautifully relaxing. I suggest a "must stay", you will find yourself coming back again and again. The cleanliness of the home is impecable being able to eat off the floors, literally. As far as being centrally located, you have the casino's, hiking trails, shopping, boating and lake activities, making your vacation memorable. I definatly recommend staying here for your next vacation, the owner is easy to work with and will accommodate pricing fairly. Try it. Thank you

These pictures don't do any justice on how amazing this house is! If you think the pictures are grand, wait until you see the actual house! Rooms are themed very well, with their own different feel. We felt like we were in a HGTV model house! There were tons to do, from swimming in the pool, lounging in the hot tub, jumping on the trampoline or laying down in the sauna. Activities were endless! All you need to bring is food and drinks and everything else is provided! The kitchen alone is top of the line with stainless steel appliances! Make sure to be ready for some good R and R here! And I'm sure you'll be wanting to come back! Because we sure are! Also, great people to do business with! They were pleasant and easy to talk to!
