If you're searching for a Minnesota Northwoods luxury home with every convenience, AND you'd like a secluded location on a great walleye fishing lake, AND you need a boat, your search has just ended! First the location. Island Lake is located midway between Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids. It is a clean 1100 acre deep lake with a public boat launch (click on link provided for details). Upon your arrival, tall pines, mature oaks and maples greet you as you pass through a gated entrance and up the private driveway. The yard is beautifully and extensively landscaped with perennials, the hot tub awaits you on the deck. There's really nothing better than enjoying a soak under the stars while the birds sing!
Outdoor amenities include a lakeside fire pit, two seating areas, a potting shed for gardeners, a fenced area for pets, a dog run, 2 car garage with workbench ... and there's always the lake! This home is on a hilltop with 120 feet of lake shore HOWEVER there are steps to the lake. The shoreline has a 48 ft. dock w/bench, a separate deck with a fire pit and steps leading into the water. A 16 ft. Crestliner pontoon is available for qualified renters... you'll want to cruise up to the eagles' nest to check out the babies! A diving dock is anchored out front too.

Oh, how we hate to see this vacation end.All this fun and in the luxury of sunshine, fresh air and an absolutely beautiful home. This is an amazing lake home, all the luxury of a five-star hotel but the comfort of a warm and inviting home. We've loved every minute of our time at Island Lake Fantasy.
