Most Amazing Vacation Ever!!!!

We (4 older ladies aged 55-61) came not knowing what to expect, but with the all the amazing efforts of Tony, Paolo and Irena we had the most amazing time of our lives. Some of our party had not met each other, but at the end of the week we were FRIENDS for LIFE for having experienced this trip together. 1 in the group thought that we had probably planned on too many tours and could not possibly fit them in without being too exhausted to enjoy the trip, but with Tony taking care of setting up the driver and tour guide it was done so effortless and we had a good night's sleep each night and this is what we did in a 5 day time span: Tuesday: Pompei and Sorrento; Wednesday: Vatican City Tour and then on our own tour of Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colliseum and more-use bus 64); Thursday: driver took us to train station where we rode to Venice and rode in the gondola and we walked the canal; Friday: took a trip to Saturnia to the Hot Springs (the area that was free-absolutely amazing); Saturday: we were supposed to take the Wine and Country tour to Tuscany but we opted to stay in Rome and do some more sight seeing (could have chosen to go to Florence, but we didn't think fast enough), but that just gives us the excuse to come back!!!!! around the corner from the apt was a little eatery that we fell in love with and each night we would say that we had to go see "the girls". Again, it was so amazing that we talked amongst ourselves and said that there was no way that we could choose which day we enjoyed the most. Just Amazing is all I can say. We did have internet issues (kept losing signal in the apt), but 2 blocks down and to the left there is an internet cafe where you can use the computers and was el cheapo: 1 euro 30 min. Go; GO GO!!!!

The most beautiful tile in Italy--and so much more

It was amazing to be so close to the bus and train (and magnificient views of St. Peter's), yet be in such a quiet neighborhood. The loudest noise was the sound of children at the nearby playground. While the pictures are accurate, they don't really capture the wonderful feel of the place nor the little touches that made it seem so homey (like the beautiful tile). It was a restful oasis from the bustle of Rome and a nice break from the many stairs in the Tuscan hill towns. Paolo who met us couldn't have been nicer despite our jetlag and the early hour of our arrival. He even showed my husband how to make espresso on the stove top just the way he likes it--very strong. Toni was very helpful in answering questions and making sure we had everything we needed. Ever since we returned my husband has been raving about this place. We also loved the nearby Osteria and grocery store. Bring your own guidebooks, though, as there are none on the shelves of this place.

This apartment is very well located to see any and all of Bella Roma. You are near train or bus stops and very close to St Peter's Square ( a very easy walk). The lodging is very nice and clean. My only complaint would be that there is no washer as described in the ad. Toni and Paulo were very friendly and helpful and I would stay here again. We were two 59 year old women who are best friends and we had a lovely time in Italy

WE loved this place. Wow, such great energy, had lots of room, Toni and Paulo were helpful and friendly. They were so gracious. The location is fabulous, with old stone arches, full kitchen, and so close to Vatican and the rest of Rome and public transit. We were blown away by the people and the housing. Toni is an exceptional man and will do what he can to assist you. A+++++++++++++++++++++

Thank you Toni for such a nice place to stay for our wonderful visit to Rome. Your apartment is well equipped and you were very helpful in getting us transportation from the airport. We like that we could just walk to the Vatacin and that their was so many wonderful resturants right there in the neighborhood. We all agreed our best meals were eaten in that area and not in the tourist areas. The pastries in the across the street were wonderful! The apartment is very cute and very quiet, no noise at all at night! Thank you again for being a great host.

We found this apartment very nice and clean. All we missed was a telephone. Toni, you are a great guy and we would like to keep in touch. We really enjoyed meeting the owners Paolo and Emanuela. We would stay at your apartment again and we'll recommended to our friends. Also very convenient to buses and walking to Vatican. Thank you. Lucie and Don Bridges

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment. It was nicely decorated and very comfortable and quiet at night. The location was great -- near the train station, buses, the Vatican and St. Peter's Square, and nice restaurants and gelaterias. The only problem we had was finding a place for dinner late on a Monday evening.
