Like a tree-house in the woods, this cozy cabin near Bass Lake and Yosemite National Park brings the outdoors in with soaring two-story windows, sky lights and a large deck overhanging historic Lewis Creek. Join Great Blue Heron as they fish for rainbow trout. Pick blackberries and fish as you hike the trail in front of the cabin along Lewis Creek to Corlieu Falls.
Relax at the cabin or explore this beautiful area, as it is conveniently located approximately 10 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias- the impressive Grizzly Giant sequoia is estimated to be 2,700 years old. Hike Yosemite Valley and waterfalls, and river raft on the Merced River as it tumbles and twists from the Yosemite Valley.
It is approximately 30 miles to Badger Pass Ski Resort, and 5 miles to Bass Lake, a picturesque high mountain lake with boating, skiing, fishing and swimming. Nearby horseback riding is available year around.
Narrow Gauge Railroad, a steam train excursion through Lewis Creek Canyon, provides all the sights and sounds of a historic mountain railroad, as well as moonlight ride and barbecue specials, gold panning and museum exhibits.

Our family (hubby, me and 8yr old son) stayed a week at this cabin . The outdoor deck and the nearby creek were the deciding factor in choosing this cabin over any other. My husband was ALWAYS reading on the deck in the evenings. It was very peaceful and relaxing. My son absolutely LOVED the creek that ran along the back of the property. It was deep enough for him to swim and to float an inner tube and slow enough that he wouldn't get washed down creek.. We ventured to Bass Lake and Yosemite National Park. Very nice relaxing place to stay. We look forward to staying again.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! Well appointed cabin in a picturesque location. Yosemite is just a short drive away so coming home to this "cabin" was phenomenal. Skylights above the bed for star gazing. The sound of the creek was very relaxing. Information provided via email and binder at the house was very helpful in planning our days. Best of all, the pictures posted here are EXACTLY what you get. Highly recommend to anyone! M & K Plantation, FL

We had a delightful three days at the Creekside Cabin. Easy access to Yosemite and a wonderful place to get back to after a day of sightseeing and hiking. We loved the creek and the quiet solitude it provided both in the mornings and the evenings.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

What a delightful cabin this is...and so conveniently located! We stopped here for four days following a week of backpacking in Sequoia National Park and thought we'd died and gone to heaven when we arrived at the cabin. Despite the long dry spell, the brook happily bubbled along, singing us to sleep in the evening. One night I was drawn out to the deck...wrapped myself up in a cozy blanket and slept under the stars on the chaise lounge. Loved cooking in the beautifully equipped kitchen, sleeping in the extremely comfortable loft bed (great bedding, by the way), and reading in the very comfortable living room. Oakhurst provided good markets and (in our case) an excellent urgent care center. We spent two full days in Yosemite, entering once by the south gate and once by way of Mariposa. Don't miss the Tioga Road and spectacular Olmstead Point. All in all an A+ stay. Thanks for making your cabin available. We'd love to come again.

We had a great time here in this cabin/home. We spent one day in Yosemite and the rest of the time just hanging out on the deck, reading, talking, and watching the birds and squirrels. We also enjoyed catching up on some movies from the video library. If you are looking for a place to really relax with peace and quiet in a comfortable atmosphere, you can really unwind here and do just that.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
