Our family celebrated Christmas at this condo and had an awesome time. The views from both sides of the condo are amazing, sunrises in the morning off one balcony and sunsets off the other. We traveled as a family of five total and the three bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts and snacks, however we could have cooked full meals but we enjoyed the restaurants instead. Felt very safe and secluded. The beach is wonderful. This was our family's first stay at St Augustine and far exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, attractive, clean, and in a great location. All three generations, ranging in age from 1-1/2 to 70, had a wonderful time celebrating Grandma's birthday and vacationing! The walkway across the dunes led to the uncrowded - and we were there in June- beach. For young children, if the wave action is too much, just down the road a bit south, is Matanzas Inlet Park,where the same water is available with NO surf. We spent a day there. We all also used the fishing pier right across the street from the condo multiple times. Actually, one or more of us used it every day. My son was the most frequent visitor, but the 12-year-old granddaughter hooked the most fish. The condo itself is nicely decorated, very comfortable, obviously someone's home, fully equipped, and laid out so that we had plenty of room. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare food for our crew, and the dishwasher, washer, dryer, coffee maker, etc. were greatly appreciated - and used. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time together and were wistful at week's end when we had to leave for our respective homes. We highly recommend this condo and the gracious, hospitable owners. This is a very cozy condo!! It is very spacious, and easily accomodated our family of 7. It is very nicely decorated, and we felt right at home. It is well-stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes and linens. The washer and dryer were excellent - just what we needed for washing beach towels and swimsuits all week. Icemaker and other appliances also worked well. It was very well-stocked with cleaning tools and supplies. It was also very clean and well-maintained. We had no problems at all with any of the amenities. There is a covered porch off the master bedroom / living room that directly faces the ocean. It is on the 1st floor, so the primary view is of the dunes and the ocean water. But the view is incredible - the dunes are lush with foliage and flowers. The porch is covered and very cozy, so it is the perfect place to sit at night or during a thunderstorm, or even on a really sunny day! The sand here is beautiful - almost white and very fine and soft. The beach was not crowded at all, and we visited in late June. The pool on the property is also nice and well-maintained, and even has a bathroom area at the pool. Directly across the street from the condo, there is a fishing dock. My son really enjoyed fishing here almost every day during our stay. There are some goos restaurants not too far away. We ate and Beachcombers. The historic area of St. Augustine is about 10 miles away from the condo, and has many unique and fun attractions. We would highly recommend this condo, and we look forward to returning.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.
