It's also been called the cottage in the sky. Enter into a patio area that has a private spa enclosed in a shoja house for privacy and a sitting area to enjoy the garden and sun. Sitting area in living room with a daybed, skylights in kitchen and bedroom to make a light and airy feeling. Patio, deck with gorgeous country landscape and gardens on the creek. The deck is off the bedroom and is private, just for you! Wine country, wine country, wine country, there are wineries every few miles, hundreds of wineries in Sonoma County within easy driving distance. 15 minutes to Bodega Bay with beaches and whale watching in the winter and spring, 5 minutes to Osmosis Day Spa and the famous Wild Flour Bakery in Freestone, 1 hr to San Francisco with plenty to do, 20 minutes to Russian River for swimming, canoeing and fishing. The house is a very short distance to downtown Sebastopol for everything you may need.
In addition to many wonderful wineries, there are great restaurants close-by. There are beautiful biking and hiking trails in the area. Nice landscaped gardens, great views of rolling west county hills and neighboring organic apple orchard and many antique stores to find old treasures.
There's a seasonal creek and abundant wildlife including hummingbirds, deer, wild turkeys parading, llamas and sheep across the road and red-shoulder hawks over head.

I've been traveling to Sebastopol several times a year for 10 years, and have finally found a place to come HOME to! Everything was very comfortable and clean, exuding a feel of a place well loved. Truly, Jan has tended to every thoughtful detail. The property itself is sweet, too, nestled into the crook of the creek, with lots of wildlife about. What a delight, all the way around!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

My husband along with our daughter stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful loft. It was the perfect place for us. The kitchen is a great place to cook a quick breakfast or whip up a small evening meal. We loved how well appointed each inch of the loft was as well as all the care the owner took in making sure every item needed was there for us. It was a convenient drive to the coast as well as into Sebastopol and Santa Rosa. We very much recommend this place to others looking for a small weekend getaway!

My husband and I recently stayed at this rental and it was beautiful! Peaceful & quiet - across the street from an orchard and surrounded by trees. Felt like we were out in the country yet only a 5 minute drive into town. Just over a mile away from fine dining at P30, and a short drive to the coast or wine tasting. We really felt relaxed as soon as we arrived and we didn't want to leave.
