If you are looking for the perfect spot in the poipu area, this Poipu Sands condo is situated near the pool and a short walking distance to the ocean. The beutiful green belt, just outside of your lanai, has a walking path that takes you to the ocean and the back of the beutiful Hyatt hotel. The condo has everything you'll need for a great stay in Poipu. Lots of beach equipment in the closet for snorkeling and boogie boarding. Owners very friendly and make sure your stay is worry free.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We have been to Kauai more than 20 times and have stayed in the high price hotels as well as other condos. We loved it at this condo is a nice size and has 2 bathrooms ! The photos do not do it justice, it is much nicer. it has a great ocean view from the lanai (patio) we sat at the outdoor table for breakfast every morning and could hear the waves as well as see them. The stunning but pricey Hyatt hotel is a 3 minute walk, As are several paths along the ocean the other way. grab your cup of coffee and walk along the ocean- we saw the huge green sea turtles there.Tthe condo is Fully equipped we Even found a few things we forgot to bring like sunscreen. The caretaker had even planted a small herb garden and encouraged us to use some if we wanted. There are several barbecue grills just a stroll away as well as the beautiful and uncrowded pool. You have everything you need in the well stocked closets and cupboards. From pool floats to salt and pepper, it is all there.Go, have fun and relax! We Will stay here again!

My wife and I have stayed at this condo nearly a dozen times in the past 6-7 years. We obviously would not have returned if we were at all unhappy. Right next to the Poipu Hyatt, it is ground floor, well back from the street, and exceptionally quiet. It is just a few miles from the best southshore restaurants, shops and swimming beaches. There are few things in life as beautiful as a dawn walk from the condo, along Shipwreck Beach in front of the Hyatt, to the cliffs and high ground to the east while enjoying the brilliance of a Kauai sunrise. The owners have solid and reliable local maintenance and the unit shows it. In addition, owner upgrades have been continuous over the years. We look forward to our next trip in October and the familiarity and comfort of this rental condo.

We call this our second home. It's on a beautiful piece of property that is perfect for families. This unit, on the ground floor has a wonderful ocean view from the covered lanai and is situated close to the pool and BBQ. There is no street noise and very little people noise. It has a new stove and dishwasher and a kitchen that is well supplied with the required utensils and appliances. The condo is furnished in a comfortable way that makes it casual, comfortable and not intimidating; perfect for a a family that needs a master bedroom and has a couple of children that can share a futon. A very short walk on a lovely lawn to the beach; no streets to cross! Wonderful walking trails and hikes nearby. It is right next door to the Grand Hyatt with all it's amenities for those that want them. It is also a very short drive to convenient shopping and other dining from Bubba's Burgers to elegant meals. A five minute drive tos great snorkeling beach and famous Poipu Park! The owners are very nice. We would highly recommmend this condo to anyone placing casual comfort and location in their vacation needs/wants.
