My cousin and I stayed here for a couple days and we don't have anything to complain about. The house was in a perfect location, just a 10-15 walk to the all the hot spots in Santa Monica. It's located in a very safe neighborhood. It's also very clean, and it's obvious that Kathryn does everything she can to make you feel welcome. I didn't experience any problems during my stay, but Kathryn kept in contact with me via email and reminded me that she would be immediately available via phone if I needed anything. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple, quiet place to stay at a great value!
Recommended for:Sightseeing.

The house is so nice and comfortable, inside there is whatever you need. The ambient is quiet, and the house is so clean. We spent very good time in this house!

We pre-paid for 4 nights and walked out after one. We got a suite at a 4/5 star hotel for only $19 more. Owner seemed like a nice lady but she advertised A GPS rental (not available) and wireless access, not available. Th wireless might have been intermittently OK, but the signal was very weak, like it was from across the street. We had no luck with it. For toppers, the shower ran hot & cold and the ambience was "modest"

I had updated the VRBO website to remove the offer of the GPS many months ago and when you asked about the GPS a day before arriving, I realized that I needed to update my own website as well as it was still showing a GPS rental available. I had no idea you would be so disappointed, or I would have simply lent you mine. I have since updated the website to remove it. The wireless was available and when you called me after 10pm several times, you were actually calling from the internet phone in the cottage, so the internet was working, but I was so sleepy that I didn't actually make the connection until the next day. I was pretty certain the internet was working & I believe your laptop may have had trouble. No one else has complained about having trouble with the internet, the router is about 3 feet from the living room. I'll have to keep tabs on this & see if it's a problem, as I do understand that internet is important.

It's easy to write a good review when everything goes right. However, we had some plumbing issues while we were there which Kathryn was incredibly prompt about fixing (no idea how she got the plumber there so fast). She helped us out for the trouble too. I'd certainly recommend it not only because it's a nice place for the money, but because if something does go wrong it won't turn into a nightmare.

What a lovely stay at your cottage. It was a home away from home and far better then any stay at a hotel. The beach is just a few short blocks away, coffee shops close by and much more! Thank you!

This cottage is well located close to the freeway access so you can easily drive from there to the main places around LA. The house is good for 3 people but you will have to accommodate if you are more. It is a nice play to stay for a short trip even if you don't get all the equipments like a dishwasher.

We just returned from our trip and we loved staying here because it was affordable and very well equipped with everything we needed.. It was clean and nice.. very beachy and we would stay there again esp. for the price...
