Great Condo - Great Location - Great View!!

This unit was fabulous! I spent weeks searching for the perfect spot for a family vacation that included 2 adult kids. From the minute we opened the door and saw the view I knew we made the right choice. The large shaded deck with 4 chairs, 2 tables and a chaise lounge chair allowed everyone to enjoy the view at anytime. The pool and beach were literally steps away (really!). The unit was exceptionally clean, well maintained and much larger that I expected from the pictures. 2 King beds, 2 full baths and 3 flat screen TVs gave us plenty of space for 4 adults. The kitchen contained everything we needed, including wine glasses and a corkscrew! Both the living area and master suite have complete front views of the beach and pool. We slept with both sliding glass doors open every night taking full advantage of the breeze and sound of the waves. The exercise facility was well maintained and conveniently located next to the pool with a view of the gulf. The beach is very clean with powder sugar like sand. The parking space right at the elevator and beach service were nice perks. Steve was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this condo for your visit to Destin!

A summer to remember!

Since this was our first visit to the beach in four years, we were hoping to have a good time with our 8-year-old granddaughter. Opening the door, our worries melted away and we knew we had the made the right choice. Clean, clean, clean!!! The magnificent view from the balcony gave us opportunities to see pelicans and dolphins go by each day while being high above the activity of the pool below. Plenty of space with lovely furnishings, amazingly comfortable beds and new appliances, the condo reminded me of being in a model home! We could not have asked for more...we even received a welcoming phone call from Steve to make sure we had arrived and all was in order!! Having multiple tv's allowed grandpa his daily news and financial talk shows and eliminated the conflict with "someone" wanting to see Disney or Nickelodeon. I especially enjoyed the convenience of having a washer/dryer in the unit and was amazed at how quiet the dishwasher was..The complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas allowed us the luxury of staying out on the beach a little longer with the shade they provided our little redhead. Our granddaughter said it "was the best vacation at the beach she ever had" and we all agreed! We look forward to many more summers at Destin and hope we will always be able to come back to Steve's condo! Thanks for an amazing stay!! PS For GREAT Italian food and huge portions, go west on Hwy 98 to La Famiglia!!! (Be warned - their kids' menu pizza is the size of a large Domino's or Papa John's). For 1/2 price, delicious dinners between 4 & 6pm try - The Lighthouse!!

Paradise

As usual a perfect trip to paradise! One of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the perfect vacation spot. We love living in on our bathing suits and never having to put on our shoes because the beach is just steps from the condo. Having restaurants and the go cart track in walking distance is another plus!

This is the third time we have stayed in this condo and we love it. It is located in the heart of Destin so you are close to everything and the parking space is the best. Steve is a pleasure to work with. We go to Destin twice a year and we plan on making this our "go to condo".

Spring Break Vacation in Unit 180843

Our family has been going to Destin for many years, staying at various condos or rental houses. There is no question that this unit (180843) is our favorite so far. We loved having the master bedroom on the beach side and the overall floor plan for our family of 4. The unit was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable and is in a great location in town and on the beach. The pool is a perfect temperature at spring break time. The Track is across the street which offers lots of family entertainment. There are several good restaurants really close - the Back Porch being one of our favorite! We were offered complimentary beach chairs/umbrella usage the week we stayed and the gentleman managing the beach service took very good care of us each day. We hope to be able to stay here again next year!

Fabulous Condo #409 Sterling Sands in Destin

We are winter guests from Minnesota and have rented from Steve for 5 years. The condo is just as beautiful as the pictures show it to be. Steve continues to update the unit every year and it is probably one of the nicest in the building! You can see both the sunrise and the sunset from the balcony and can hear the waves crashing from the master bedroom. We plan to continue to rent this unit for years to come and would highly recommend it for your family vacation or "get a way"!! You will want to come back every year as we do.....

It was our first time to Destin. The weather was perfect all week. Our condo was everything the pictures show and more. Owner was great to do business with. We would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone. Hope to get to use it again next time in Destin.

This condo is such a perfect place for a vacation! Everything about our experience was just perfect! The location of the condo in regards to the beach could not be any better - you are so close to the water here - it really is just a very short walk away. The condo itself was not only immaculate when we arrived for our one week trip but the furnishings in the whole unit made our stay very warm and homey. All of the furnishings were very upscale and yet comfortable. My favorite part was the spa tub in the master bath, along with the shower. Oh...and don't let me forget the TempurPedic mattress in the master bedroom.......... As for the condo unit, it was so nice to have that wonderful swimming pool with easy access and better yet was the parking spot! You can't appreciate that it is right in front of the elevator unless you've had to park and hike a long distance with all of your things in the past, which I have. You don't have to do that here!!! I could go on however I do believe I've covered the main points. My real statement is: Try It - You'll Love It !!!!!

It had been a few years since we had been to Destin so we really looking forward to the trip. The place blew us away! It was as great as it looks in the pictures. Sterling Sands is in a perfect location, the condo itself is clean, comfortable, and has every amenity needed. The owner is a pleasure to work with, we hope to be back soon!

We have stayed at Sterling Sands for many years and have always booked trhough the resort. This year we booked through VRBO. This condo was all that the listing description says. It was clean and comfortable and very roomy. The photos definitely indicate how nice the accommodations were. We would be interested in staying here again and would recommend it to others. If you love the beach and listening to the waves crash the shore at night, this is the place to be!! The only negative we experienced was that we were planning on visiting with other family but because of the Oil Spill were unable to since they were able to cancel their reservations.

Incredible ocean views and perfect location in Destin

We stayed in this condo last Memorial Day and had a fantastic time. The condo is right on the beach and only steps away from the ocean. There is also a beach service where you can rent umbrellas and chairs. Our son loved swimming in the pool every afternoon and visiting the go cart track across the street. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and the condo has recently been updated so everything is nice and new. We can't wait to go back this year and definitely recommend this unit!

This was a very lovely condo. It was very clean and well maintained and was equipped with everything we needed. The photos that were shown and the discription of the location were very accuate. I would not have a problem recommending this property to anyone. (as long as I knew that they would take good care of it!!) We hope to be returning in the future.

My family and I have stayed at this condo several times. The condo is beautifully decorated and well equiped. It has continued to exceed our expectatons in every way. We especially enjoy the view of ocean from the 4th floor balcony. Sunsets were amazing. The condo overlooks the heated pool and hot tub. It is an easy walk to the beach and close walk to the Back Porch Restaurant which is one of our favorites. The owner was very pleasant and easy to work with. We will be back again next year.
