This 11th century villa Il Palagio sits in the midst of an expansive landscape of rolling hills and valleys, wine vineyards, olive groves and farm houses, overlooking the Historic Village of Panzano in Chianti. The town of Panzano in Chianti is deep in the heart of Tuscany Italy, mid-way between Siena and Florence.
The Villa has been recently restored keeping its original layout and style including terra cotta floors, exposed bean ceilings and working fireplaces. This three bedroom apartment accommodates up to six people. The apartment villa is equipped with a full service kitchen including dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and freezer. All bedrooms and bathroom furnishings are elegant, modern and tastefully done for your comfort and convenience and in keeping with the true Tuscan look and feel.
Il Palagio is set into the beautiful greenery surrounded by a large swimming pool and vegetable gardens for guests to enjoy. Among those gardens are fresh produce to be picked and grilled on the outdoor barbecue. The land of Il Palagio produces on the estate the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Red Wine; of which you can taste and enjoy during your stay. But one of the most wonderful assets of Il Palagio is the service and quality of stay. Back in California now and wishing we were still at Il Palagio sitting by the pool overlooking the gorgeous Chianti hills while sipping a glass of local vino. The villa and property are so beautiful and relaxing and we ALL had a wonderful time sharing our Italy experiences there together. You have done an amazing job and we look forward to revisiting in the not-too-distant future. We will highly recommend Il Palagio to others we know visiting Chianti. Ciao for now!
