  I am writing this review from the great room of this amazing home! We are a family of seven (five teenagers/young adults, mom, dad) on our first Hawaiin vacation. I am so glad we found the Hali Pili Lani! First and foremost, the view is to die for. You might not want to leave the house! The home is clean and well stocked with all the necessities. We really appreciated the great room with a big dining room table and plenty of chairs for our big group. The main part of the home includes a great room, kitchen, three bedroom and a bath. What we didn't expect was the lower-level master suite. The master suite has a private entrance and isn't accessible from the main home. For a family with small children, this probably wouldn't work, but for us it was perfect! My husband and I are really appreciating the privacy. The neighborhood beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. We spent one afternoon snorkeling there and plan on going back for more. The beach towels provided at the house were a wonderful bonus and kept us from having to bring our own or purchase some here. The washer and dryer were also great to have. There is a strip mall just down the hill (walking distance) with a grocery store, movie theater and several restaurants. We loved the burgers at Seven Guys. The Polynesian Cultural Center is a short drive away. We are really enjoying the slower, laid-back pace of Laie. Deb (one of the owners) was great to work with. We communicate several times via email and phone and she was always very prompt to respond and answer my questions. Bottom line: I would not hesitate to recommend the Hale Pili Lani and hope to return here again myself!

  We rented this beautiful home for 7 nights. The view was breathtaking! We fell asleep to the crashing of the waves every evening! The home had great space for our family of 4 plus had my sister in law & brother in law and their daughter plus Nana! It was kind of a trip to have one of the bedrooms with private bath down below the home but it was definitely private with our own lanie. Great having a washer and dryer. We used it every night for towels to prepare for the next day at the beach. The beach was walking distance. Thanks for having sand toys. We found lots of ghost crabs at Temple Beach. So Fun!! Grocery store was close by too. Everything is closed on Sunday in Laie so we planned ahead. Everyone in the town was so friendly! The home had wonderfully large windows which allowed for great light and had amazing cross breezes with the windows open! We loved interacting with Deb. She made this whole experience so easy to set up. Very personable and helpful. Thank you so much!! We would definitely rent this home again. Mahalo, The Helton Family

  Loved the view. It was fabulous at any time of the day. The bed in the master room was so comfortable. Having 10 actual chairs for eating was a great convenience. Kitchen worked well for that many people. Washer and dryer were a needed amenity. Ceiling fans were so necessary and welcome for air flow. Used BBQ twice. Nice to have. Friendly neighbors to answer our questions. We loved the nearby beach once we correctly followed your directions and found the path. Sort of an exotic entrance. It was a fabulous week and we so appreciated your house for our visit. We were 2 grandparents and 8 grandchildren with visiting Bride and Groom when they found time. We couldn't have asked for more. Loved snorkling at Shark's Cove and watching turtles at Turtle Beach, Polynesian Cultural Center, all the nearby beaches, using boogie boards and small brown lizards to catch and release. We'll never forget this trip.

  Me and my family's first vacation trip to Hawaii and was very fortunate to find the PERFECT house to stay at for the week. The location at the North Shore gave you a feel of how the locals lived rather than the crowd at Honolulu. Shopping center literally down the street from the house and was 5 minutes away from the famous Giovanni shrimp truck, best beaches and one mile away from the Polynesian Cultural Center. The pictures on this site does not do the place justice. The landscape was tremendously beautiful and well kept with all of the islands natural beauty. The house came with everything you need along with WiFi, two boogie boards, sand castle toys, beach mats, goggles/snorkling goggles and more. AWESOME communication and GREAT detailed packet that answers all of your needs and questions. Being it our first time in Hawaii, we were truly at ease!!! Highly recommend this to my friends, family and anyone who truly want to experience Oahu at its fullest.

  I've done the research for you. A spectacular house, just as the pictures show. The local beaches were the most beautiful I have ever seen, and I can't imagine where the crowds were, maybe Waikiki? Great location, close to the grocery store, quiet street, short drive to Sunset Beach to see the surfers and the historic town of Hale'iwa, where there are some great restaurants and shops. My family of nine had no problem fitting in, we could all sit at the table at one time. Can't beat the price either, very good value for this "villa". Very clean and well kept home. I miss it sooo much already and plan to return!

  We stayed at Hale Lani Pili and enjoyed it immensley. The local beaches were lovely and it was an easy drive to the north shore. The location right on the ocean was great and the lanai was perfect for outdoor dinners - the bbq is a welcome addition to the house. The mastersuite was nice and private plus the kitchen had all the ammentities we needed. The house was clean when we arrived and you can tell was well looked after.The house made our time in Hawaii really memorable. Thank you.

  We spent the most amazing 8 days at Hale Pili Lani. There were 8 people in our group so with 4 bedrooms it was perfec,t and the living dining area was more than we expected size wise. But the very best part were the incredible views from the deck, where we spent mot of our time. We could see all of turtle, para sailers glided by, and turtles swam below--we lived on the deck, and had every dinner overlooking the ocean Its kind of a zen house. Because it is off the road it is really peacefull, unlike the place our friends stayed where they had to deal with traffic. The master suite was unreal, every night we heard the waves crashing. We will be back and tell our friends, thanks for the vacation of a lifetime.

  We recently rented this home in Laie. It was beautiful! The view and having the sound of the ocean right there to lull you to sleep was absolutely wonderful! Everything was provided...linens, dishes, etc. We didn't have to worry about anything. The king suite was amazing! Debbie was great to work with. Thanks!!

  Very Nice Place. Large Living Room. Great View. Private downstairs room nice for a couple (not suitable for disabled to reach) Clean Home Owner was very helpful and accomodating. Would recommend this home to others. Would also return to this home. Enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center very much. Shop at Tamura's it is cheaper than Foodland. (We bought too much stuff at the grocery store so shop carefully) Giovanni's Shrimp truck had good food-must go.

  Our family had a great stay at this beautiful home on the North Shore. The views of Laie Bay and Goat Island from the family room, lanai, and lower bedroom are incredible. The master bedroom and bath is very spacious with a separate entrance for privacy from the main house. The neighborhood is very quiet with no traffic noise. The house was clean and well equipped. We would definitely come back and we are recommending it to our friends.
