Terrific new rental! Blackberry Creek Cabin is a completely renovated rustic log cabin set on 2 private - wooded acres and located just 4 miles from Main Street Blowing Rock. The spectacular setting includes lush native laurels, evergreens, beautiful stone work, and a bubbling - active trout stream located just steps from the cabin’s expansive decking and winding throughout the property. At Blackberry Creek Cabin you will feel like you are in a luxurious fishing lodge deep in Wyoming while being just miles from all that Blowing Rock and Boone have to offer.
Blackberry Creek Cabin has much to offer inside and out. Listen to the stream from any room in the house or enjoy it from the 1500+ square feet of decking/covered porches, wide bridge spanning the creek, new hot tub, or lounging by the fire pit. The mostly flat 2 acre lot has lots of room to roam the ridge behind the home or trek along the creek viewing multiple falls and wade pools. Also, test your fishing skills vs. native Speckled Brown Trout, play Frisbee Golf, or nap in the hammock by the stream.
Blackberry Creek Cabin was constructed in 1980 using traditional rough sewn log cabin construction. In 2007, an extensive remodel was done adding today’s custom home features while ensuring the look and feel of a rustic cabin was preserved. Updates include new cabinets and granite countertops, all wood interior walls and ceilings, SS appliances, 4 flat screen TV’s (42” in FR), 2 DVD players, BOSE Wave CD, HVAC/plumbing, new bathrooms, wood flooring, 5 person hot tub, expansive outdoor living areas, 2 story stone fireplace (wood burning), and creek side fire pit (we supply the wood). The cabin is approximately 1650 SF and includes, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds, fully furnished basement den, laundry room, and a very roomy and open main living area (family room, dining room, kitchen).
In 2008, Blackberry Creek Cabin was professionally re-decorated with all new Mountain Art Furniture and quality linens designed to provide a luxurious vacation experience while maintaining the rugged charm of a true wilderness cabin. |
