A perfect home for introducing out of town guests to the WONDERS of the Puget Sound..... Eagles, sea otters, deer, tideland exploring. The ability to walk from the front porch onto the beach is incredible. This home provided the best for all.... exquisite master suite, perfect second floor double with million dollar view and "bunk" room for family with double for parents and enough single beds for the kids to sleep comfortably. The owners were exceptionally easy to work with... very accomodating. The home is well maintained and CLEAN. This home and the owners will be our FIRST choice for lodging in this area in the future......Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What an amazing place, we spent my 50th birthday at the beach. we had this house and the one next door and had an amazing time. The master suite has a very comfy kingsize bed with beautiful bedding and is so delicious I never wanted to get out of bed... the kitchen had everything we needed. My Brother and his wife loved the upstairs bedroom and the view. I served them coffee in bed... Everyone who came to the party wanted to rent the house. Hopefully it will still have room for us in the future... Many thanks. AnnieDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We have just returned from our 2nd stay at this wonderful getaway. The first stay was for a 50th birthday (14 of us) and this time is was for Christmas (7 of us). It shows what a great place this is that we were willing to uproot our family Christmas and cart it all to this great beach house. It was really worth it! We enjoyed fabulous sunrises and sunsets (the house faces south)and Christmas dinner on the deck! We fully support all the comments above and add that being able to take our dog is a huge bonus. Our warm and sincere thanks to the family for sharing this wonderful, affordable home away from home nestled in a perfect spot.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What a great place. My husband and I were so impressed with all the space (and private for sleeping) and might want to come back with our immediate family and grandkids sometime. We had good weather, enjoyed walks on the beach, canoed and rowed some, and so loved the view from the lovely, spacious kitchen as we prepared yummy meals. We (3 couples) loved all the music selection you had there. And we played quite a bit of ping pong. It was an excellent time for all six of us. The beach is so walkable and for a long ways even at medium tides. What a gift to others that this place is shared.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

"I just wanted to drop you a quick note expressing our gratitude for your bit of paradise. We had the most amazing weekend. The weather was just warm enough to be outisde nearly the whole time we were there. We built bonfires, walked on the beach, played games. Thank you so much for making your wonderful cabin available to share. You are fortunate to have such a place and we are grateful to have stumbled upon it." "Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much we enjoyed your lovely place in Hansville. It was the perfect place for a get together and we were really impressed with the house and how well equipped it was, and of course the beach and surrounding area was terrific. We esp. loved the sand dollars, paddling around in the canoe and the Nature Conservancy beach. How lovely to be able to walk for miles and not have to worry about trespassing." Our extended family of 4 adults and 3 kids had a great time in this house. The house itself was very clean, comfortable and well-equiped. The yard was great for playing lots of games, but the beach is the highlight. Perfect for walking, lots of playing and exploring, digging clams, swimming (for the brave!), canoeing... all that good stuff. Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

"We had an excellent time. The house was perfect. We had people sleeping in almost all the beds, plus out on the deck. We did a lot of cooking, bread-baking, etc. We enjoyed watching some people dig up geoducks, and exploring the low-tide beach. We did use the boats, especially the canoe, which was a treat. Wish we could come back!" submitted by homeowner:Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
