Old Florida style with modern convenience!


Located on the top floor (2 story building) enjoy the wonderful sea breezes throughout the unit. Most days, you won't even need the A/C!

The beaches here are also known for their fantastic treasures from the past. Many Spanish galleons sailed these waters and sank off the shores. Comb the beach with a metal detector and you might go home with a doubloon! Or, try your luck angling off shore or from the beach. Honest John's Fish Camp, a relic from the past, is only a short distance away. Boats and motors are available for fishing or exploring the inland waterway.

  • If you want to put the hustle/bustle behind you and relax at the beach.... Unit 7, Sandy Shoes is for you. Just close enough to dining, shopping and entertainment and far from the crowds of public beaches and theme parks. The Unit is beautiful and well appointed. The views of the ocean from your private breakfast nook are spectacular. Inside the room was spotless and the property is well kept. Just enough quaint Florida style with all the amenities. Everything you need is supplied by the owner right down to the cork screw. If you like the Marriott and room service go to the Marriott. If you can fend for yourself for breakfast and save $20 each then go to the Publix less than half a mile down the road and relax in your own kitchen and enjoy the view of the ocean. Full size refrigerator/range lots of dinnerware and utensils, cups and such. Generous closet space. Nice bathroom and shower. Pool cleaning crew was there twice during our one week visit. I can't speak for other rooms here because different people own each unit but #7 was perfect. I want to add that we are beach people, not hotel people. We loved our stay at #7 Sandy Shoes, Melbourne Beach, Fl.
