I live in Colorado, My father passed away and we held the funeral service in Bonners Ferry where he grew up. We wanted a place to stay where we could still relax during this very stressful time. I can't say enough how wonderful this property is. The owner was so helpful and understanding on our need to arrive a little early. When we arrived early that morning the house was all warmed up for us. This is very, very nice when you are arriving during a snow storm. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The view is amazing and it truly was a great place to truly relax and feel at peace. I loved this property and we will definatley be returning when visiting family. I would highly recommend this property! The Owner and property manager are wonderful! <3

We had such a wonderful experience in your beautiful home this winter that we wasted no time reserving again for the up and coming summer. We have vacationed and rented many homes in the Bonner's Ferry area over the years but we have never enjoyed such a luxurious home in such a prime area with such an honest deal before. We intend on being "repeat" renters for quite a while.

The Eagles Nest was beyond expectations! You couldn't want for anything, very well stocked, so many little extras. The view off the deck was stupendous and the star gazing at night was unbelievable. When we drove up there were three wild turkeys, eagles flying overhead, and deer in the yard. Annie provided both bird and deer food so that you could enjoy the animal views too. Would definitely stay again when we travel out west. Loved the house, furniture, views, and the peace and quiet.

Anne; First let me say I am sorry for the delay in this response. We have been traveling and the holidays got in the way! Needless to say we want to thank you for opening your beautiful home to us this past summer. Two week there were the highlight of our western trip. The arrangements with you and your local agent were simple and professional. We lacked for nothing. We spent our days hiking and golfing with cocktails on the porch to end our day. What could be better. The views of the mountains and the river are to die for and the deer, humming birds and turkeys are just a bonus. Any pictures or discriptions would fail the reality of our visit. We look forward to coming again and would recommend your beautiful property to anyone wanting to spend some time in the wonderful northern Idaho area.

What a marvelous and restful stay we had at The Eagle's Nest! Truly a quality home with all of the comforts you could want. For us it was a wonderful rest and relaxation long weekend. For others this home would make a great reunion or get together place. The location, scenery, vistas, and wildlife are all top notch and breathtaking. We felt no need to go anywhere for three days as we were absolutely entranced by this incredibly beautiful valley. We highly recommend this home away from home to anyone.

Ralph & Donna Abercrombie of Waller, Texas Date of Stay: June 2011 We had a very relaxing stay with plenty of space, comfortable atmosphere and lots of beautiful scenery. The various mountain and river views were wonderful to see as the light and clouds changed their looks throughout the days. The sights were quite exciting, including the Eagle Nest out front the bear tracks (bear on mail box & cubs in the tree) This was a very nice place to stay and we would enjoy doing it again. Annie, Your Home is clean and well maintained. The scenery once again was fantastic. Again we enjoyed The Eagle’s Nest so much! It has everything one needs for an incredibly comfortable stay. The expansive views are breathtaking. We saw bald eagles flying just off the bluff. It was all there. House is absolutely beautiful and a great place to reconnect. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from it all and watch the view for a while. Can’t wait to return to this very special place. In a word, I don't think I can find the correct words to describe it. The home and views are both out of this world. All I can say is that you have to "experience" The Eagle’s Nest for yourself. I know we will be back!! Thank you Annie for sharing this majestic place with us!!!!

We spent a marvelous week and enjoyed every moment of it! the kitchen was equipped better than any we have ever rented, that's over 20 years worth, the house was neat and clean, and the caretakers were easily available and helpful with our only question. The pictures didn't do it justice. it was just the most beautiful place to sit on the deck and sip a drink. I highly recommend this property and will return many times.

This home is gorgeous. Great decor, immaculate, hugh kitchen and stocked with everything you could ever want. I'm sorry we didn't have time to stay longer! Very clean and the price was great. Three bathrooms...what a treat from the usual one we had to share in hotels...lol. Whitetail fawn stopped by to say hello. Very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't be better...thanks a bunch Annie!

No words could describe the Eagle's Nest and do it justice. Clean, cozy, with views you have to see to believe. What a find! Annie was wonderful in working out details for us. It was a special place to spend our vacation and since we were visiting family in Bonner's Ferry hope to spend many more relaxing days in the future. Deer, humming birds, trains, we saw them all. A summer storm came through and put on a wonderful show in valley below. If you're heading up North head here!

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle's Nest. The cabin is gorgeous and the view spectacular! It was so quite, we spent every evening on the deck looking out and enjoying the view. Had many visits with Hummingbirds and some Deer stopped by as well. We have rented several properties from VRBO and we have to mention that Eagle's Nest by far as been the best stocked, many kitchen supplies including spices and coffee filters as well as bathroom necessities. The local information provided prior to the trip was very handy in choosing activities and dinner selections. We would highly recommend Eagle's Nest for those wanting to get away from it all. We will be back.

Ann what a beautiful place. It sure is true that the place even looks better than the pictures show. And WOW the train coming from down below out of the rock is like being back in the old days. We also noted the incredible craftsmanship done in building that place. Well you can count on us returning and many blessing's to you and yours.

Where do we begin? Breathtaking is one of the many adjectives this home and view deserve. What a gift to be able to stay at this home and enjoy the endless beauty and peace that surrounds it. We felt like extended family renting this home for a couple of days and the communication with the owner is wonderful! You will find everything you need in this extensively equipped home. The beds are extremely comfortable and everything imaginable is available for your use in the kitchen!! This house is a true hidden treasure. It is unbelievable to us that we found it on the internet and that its magnificent beauty, both inside and out, is available for others to enjoy. What a gift!

This was such a great deal! The photos just don't do the place justice. The kitchen is well laid out and easy to work in, the living room is large with an incredible view, and the BBQ is ready to go using the gas-line of the house. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away.
