Creekside cabin was an awesome stay for us! The house is beautiful and so well equipped! The owners anticipated our every need! The location was sublime. Sitting on the screened porch listening to the creek was so peacefful. Just what we needed! So appreciated the weekday special price! We can't wait to return!

Took my wife a 3 kids for the week and had a blast. The cabin is beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed the closed in porch with the creek sounds the most.

This property was exactly as promised in the VRBO listing. The kitchen was well-equipped to handle all my Thanksgiving meal preparation. The location is very quiet but close enough to both Highlands and Cashiers. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Clean, convenient, and comfortable

We found the cabin to be very clean and well appointed. There's a TV and DVD in every room which makes a family stay even better. The location is excellent -- within 10 minutes of Highlands and Cashiers / almost across the street from the Whiteside Mountain trail/ and no treacherous uphill car climbs. It just feels like home!

Thank you so much for such an incredible cabin. You don't miss much in the way of details! We got tons of snow, so we were able to go sledding on my birthday. Being from Nashville, TN, that was a rare treat for sure! The views were amazing and the cabin was extremely comfortable. The Rib Shack was a great lnch treat for my big day. All in all your cabin gave me the setting for a great birthday with my family. Thanks!

We had a great 3 day Halloween weekend. We hiked Whiteside Mt. in the rain and were the only ones on the mountain. We also had a great time trick or treating in town. Your home is beautiful. We would love to come back again! Thank-you for sharing your home with us!

Our 8 day stay couldn't have been more perfect. Day after day of sunshine and glorious foliage. Your lovely cabin provided the respite we were looking for from the hurly-burly of the world. Rest, relaxation, reading, good movies, and lots of good dinners, mostly cooked on the barbie. Did I mention wonderful sleep in the quiet & crisp mountain air? Home fires burning, a glass of red wine or two, and my beloved by my side. Thank you for providing an exquisite haven for our vacation. The local bear (*very* large) was an added bonus, beware those with dogs to keep them close! Lori Bee was wonderful in attending to our questions and minor peccadillos. We'll long remember our time in Highlands! Thank you again!

We really enjoyed our week here, even though we had six days of rain and snow on the last. The cabin is well furnished and nicely stocked. We had a fire every night and enjoyed the gas grill. The Highlands is a beautiful area and we hope to come back again.

The house was terrific. It was as if we had furnished it ourselves - especially the kitchen & iPod/iPhone accessories. Thank you for the TVs in each bedroom! We enjoyed the screened porch - thanks for the comfy furniture. In Highlands I recommend the hike to Sunset Rock to see the sunset. Our favorite shop was the Highland Hiker & the Life is Good Shop next door. Recommend hike on Whiteside Mtn and Whitewater falls. The kids loved geming at Jackson Hole geming. We also had a great horseback ride at Arrowmont Stables. A beautiful spot and home - we will certainly think about coming again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our long-weekend stay in your lovely home celebrating our 10th anniversary. The weather was cool enough for evening fires, and we enjoyed the screened-in porch listening to the rain. We also appreciated your attention to detail with the electronics throughout the home. Highlands is a delightful place. We took in the shops one day and spent the next exploring all of the beautiful waterfalls in the area. This was our first visit to the area, but we certainly hope to return. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great "Spring Break" vacation... Hikes - Whiteside Mountain and Glen Falls - good for novices. Fine dining at Madison's, Wolfgang's and Paoletti's Rib Shack great for mid-day snack. House comfortable & accommodating. Thanks for sharing it with us!

What a little piece of heaven in the mountains of North Carolina. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. We loved having a fire every evening, it made it so cozy. The house was set up perfectly & the kitchen has everything you need. You guy's thought of everything. We had snow on Saturday evening and woke up to a winter wonderland on Sunday. Our golden retriever, Buddy Rogers, loved playing in the snow ... so did we. Thank you for letting us share your piece of paradise. We will definitely be back! Dear Dave and Marti,Thank you for opening up your house to us. It was perfect in every way – clean, comfortable, light and warm. My kids loved having their own T.V.’s and our dog loved being able to come with us on vacation. We all enjoyed the break from the FL heat and flat terrain. We are so sad to be packing up tonight. The week went by in a wink.My husband and I needed a respite from the hectic month between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Your place and the Highlands area provided the perfect antidote to crazy holidays, crazy work schedule and even our crazy relatives. What a splendid house! We could barely bring ourselves to leave even though the weather was perfect! We loved the fireplace, used the grill the Ipod docks, the televisions in every room! God’s majesty is apparent in every direction we look, in every scent that breezes by us, every sound that reaches our ears, and every mountainous feeling that touches our soul! What a wonderful two weeks! In all our holidays in Highlands, this was by far and away the best! The home was immaculate and every need attended to. It rained for two days (poured) and we thoroughly enjoyed the snug warmth inside - there was not a bit of dampness. We were particularly pleased with the WiFi access and the office provisions. WOW! Where do we begin? We had a great MONTH here! The first 3 weeks were wonderful for us recently empty-nexters. We got reconnected and just loved the house, the porch,the weather, the hikes, and the town of Highlands. We highly recommend a massage at Gifted Hands in Highlands by Troy. Loved the Rib Shack and the fine food at Lakeside. Our 3 boys (age 19, 22 & 24) came the last week. We all had a blast together. This house is the BEST! So very comfortable! We had beautiful weather, cool nights, amazing stars, card games & board games. Sam got to work from his laptop and literally did it all from the porch!! The hikes here are wonderful, the waterfalls were great - Sunset Rock is great for an evening picnic. We rented a boat on Lake Glenville and went tubing, also went white water rafting. This is a great place for it all - Relaxing and unwinding, yet lots of adventure and activities too. We also love this area of Wildwood Forest. Met some great people here. We can't thank you enough for opening your great home to us for this vacation. We loved it so much we wanted to extend our time, but it's time to go back to reality! You have furnished his home with everything in mind. I love to cook & we had everything needed... Thanks again!

Dear Dave & Marti - I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 weeks at your house. You thought of so many extras to make my guests and me so comfortable. I have stayed at some rentals where the furniture was not comfortable, but not in this house. All furniture was super comfy. The porch was a real treat where I enjoyed sitting, reading, or conversing. SE Ga is too hot to enjoy such a porch. Lastly, my little Shih Tzu Weeta enjoyed the house also. I love traveling with her. Perfection! Creekview Cabin has provided a wonderful two-day respite for us... We want more!
