We enjoyed our stay. Nice property. There is a little highway noise, but not bad at all. The cabin is comfortable and the owners are very nice and give you plenty of privacy. There is a nice path that goes down to a safe, fun, small river. My boys had a ton of fun moving rocks around and playing in the water. Very close to Mesa Verde and also close to Durango. We had a lot of fun in both of those places.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the River Bend Cabin! The cabin is very charming, neatly decorated and very clean with everything needed for an extended stay. The property is very well maintained and offers access to a hot tub, fire pit, games for children, and the nearby creek. The unit is also air conditioned in the master bedroom and living room area. There were two televisions located in the living room and master bedroom which had DISH cable. Mancos, Colo is a very small town but does offer the necessities such as gas, laundry and groceries. Cortez, Co is only a short distance away and offers more of the chain restaurants and stores. Entrance to Mesa Verde was only minutes away from the cabin which was a plus! At every opportunity we were greeted by Bob and Mary who helped with suggestions and tips about our stay near Mea Verde. They made our stay very welcoming and enjoyable! The overall experience was good. It would be excellent but there was some minimal noise from traveling cars, more noticeable at night, and the second bedroom did become a little warm. Considering the price of the rental, these are minimal concerns that can be tolerated. Everything else was more than expected! We would recommend this unit to our friends and look forward to staying here again some day. Thanks again Bob and Mary for your great hospitality!!! It was a pleasure meeting you both! My children had a wonderful time and your names have become part of their stories. Your kindness has made an impact on our journey and you will be forever remembered as part of our trip to Mesa Verde!
