Beaufort is a charming little historic NC town founded in 1709 which makes it the 3rd oldest in the state. Originally a Port of Entry and fishing village, Beaufort has a rich maritime history. The historic waterfront district along Taylor’s Creek offers visitors the opportunity to dine and shop while enjoying views of feral horses on Carrot Island and boats from all over the world at the Beaufort Docks. Water ferries transport visitors to nearby Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks. There are historic and ghost tours available daily that provide a rich history of the area, and one of Blackbeard’s legendary homes is just around the corner from our vacation home! Tour the North Carolina Maritime Museum, the Beaufort Historic Site, and walk or bike the tree lined streets of the historic neighborhoods. There are fabulous restaurants by the waterfront to enjoy including annual events like the Food and Wine Weekend with winemakers and top chefs from around the world and the music festival. Whatever you decide to do, I am sure that you will find Beaufort as “Delightfully Different " as we do – and it's only 3 hours from Raleigh!
The home sleeps 12 and was built only a few years ago so has the amenities of a new home. We include bikes, a canoe, and other extras with the rental.

Beaufort, NC Easy Living Large Rental House

After finding most rental houses too expensive I stumbled upon this old-looking NEW house at the most reasonable price in the city. The pictures don't really do it justice. It's much larger than it looks and the most well equipped kitchen I've ever seen. It is built and designed to promote fun and easy living. There's not a gadget missing and they are very nice. Sunny, bright, clean, well managed . The owner is courteous and efficient. I highly recommend it and (as an Interior Designer) I'm impressed with the thoughtful layout and conveniences. Walking to good food, the waterfront and shops is through the historic district and interesting!

This house was perfect and exactly as billed. Clean, comfortable and close to the our activity areas. The owner responded quickly to any questions and was prompt with the return of our security deposit. While it was too cold for us to use any of them, the garage was full of toys for all ages. I would gladly recommend this house to anyone.

The house was great. It was very clean, well appointed and well located Enjoyed having the bicycles, they were greatly appreciated. We thought about fishing, but just didn't have the time to drop a hook. Another great plus is the fenced in backyard for the youngest member of our group. The only issue was that the three year old kept locking the bathroom doors after he left. We finally found a key, but would suggest that one be placed on each door molding. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great house for a family vacation to Beaufort! We had 10 in our group, plenty of room for all. The house is clean, bright and well furnished, the mosaics adding a special touch. The location is perfect, a short bike ride or walk into town to enjoy cute shops and restaurants. One block from a dock made fishing and canoeing convenient. Just a few blocks from the passenger ferry to Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout made getting to the beach an easy adventure! The oversize picnic table on the back porch is a nice touch and allowed our large group to gather in one place for meals. We appreciated all the extra gear that Brad provided: bikes, kayaks, canoe, life jackets, children's toys and equipment, beach chairs, the list goes on and on. We will defintely return!

This is a great house! We had a group of 9 people from various locations across country come in for a dive trip. Everyone had their own room...with room to spare. The layout is awesome and everyone loved it. The grill, bikes and toys just made it superb with an easy walk to downtown Beaufort and all the wonderful restaurants and dockside fun. Highly recommended...and my dog loved the big fenced back yard.

Wow, The house was more than I ever imagined. It is truly a work of art. The mosiacs were my favorite. Everything was provided for us even to the magazines to read. We lacked for nothing. The porches and balcony were very relaxing. Brad is a wonderful, wonderful host and a delight to work with. He provided bikes, scooters, and a canoe to enjoy. Wonderful location, a block from Blackbeards house. Excellent experience. Highly recommended. Oct 2009

What a great house! We had tons of space and the bikes were great entertainment for the kids. We stayed for only a few nights but would love to have stayed longer. If we ever travel to Beaufort again we would definitely stay there. Brad is very easy to work with and takes very good care of his place. Thanks for a great vacation!

The Anne St house was perfect! We traveled down for a friend's wedding and stayed for a long weekend. The house was more than accomodating with plenty of sleeping space, a great back yard, and tons of bikes to cruise around town! I would recommend this place to others and I would stay there again. Brad was great to work with. Hope you all enjoy the house as much as we did!
