If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful and yet exciting place,look no more!! Here you'll find our spectacular ocean view of Culebra, Vieques and Palomino Islands. This complex is located in the North East side of the island of Puerto Rico. Our location is excellent, we are just 35 miles from San Juan International Airport, 15 minutes to the beautiful blue flag Luquillo beach, 25 minutes drive to "El Yunque" tropical rain forest, 5 minutes from "El Conquistador Hotel" and our Seven Seas Beach. Here you will have access to numerous restaurants, movie theaters, various marinas, hospitals, pharmacies, supermarkets, main stores such as Big K, Walmart, Sears and for those who enjoy serious shopping Belz Outlets is only 30 minutes away.
Our modern decorated apartment is a corner sub-penthouse with a breathtaking view since it is located on the 4th floor overlooking Villa Marina. This three bedroom, 2 baths with a huge balcony is fully furnished with Trane air conditioners, ceiling fans, Cable TV (26" LCD Flat Screen), DVD and Stereo Home Theater. It has a huge side by side refrigerator with ice maker and water filter, microwave and washer dryer combo. It has one queen size bed in the master bedroom, one full size bed in the guest room and in the third bedroom two bunk beds that sleeps 4. Kitchen utensils, linen, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella are provided.
Pena Mar is a gated community with 24 hours security. There are two apartments per floor and elevators in all the units. It has 3 pools, one infinity with Jacuzzi, one in the shape of a sailboat, and one with a built in water slide. There is a fully equipped gym, basketball and tennis courts, playground and a walking trail.
Villa Marina is right across the street from us where you can find daily catamaran charters that will take you out to the Icacos Cays for a day of snorkeling or just laying out on the beach. For a moderate fee you are treated to tropical drinks, water, lunch and all the fruit you can eat. The snorkeling gear is included. It is an experience you won't want to miss. About 10 minutes away you can reach Puerto Real where you can take a Ferry to visit our sister islands of Vieques and Culebra where you will find the most beautiful beaches. If you prefer to fly you can reach our regional airport in the town of Ceiba from which you can fly to Vieques, Culebra, St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix and the British Virgin Islands. Minutes away at "Las Croabas" you will find our 316 acres of Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Preserve that offers a tour to one of the oldest lighthouses that is operating since 1882. Besides the Lighthouse and Mangrove tour there is also a night tour that takes you to the Bioluminicent Lagoon. The Bioluminicent Tour can also be taken in Kayak. Reservations are required for these tours. We also have a framed map with all the telephones for your convenience.

Pena Mar is equipped with a Gym, three swimming pools, playground,tennis courts, basketball courts, walking distance to catamaran charters and tours. There are only two apartments per floor which makes it very private. Walking distance to restaurants, kioskos and convenience stores. 5 min. drive to El Conquistador Hotel, the beach and the famous broadwalk in Las Croabas and our 316 acres "Las Cabezas de San Juan" where there is a major nature preserve which offers a tour to the lighthouse and mangroves. There is also a night tour to the Bioluminicent Lagoon.

Year Purchased: 2006
Harry and I have been married for the past 23 years. We are both natives here but unlike Harry who has lived here all his life I was raised in NYC. In my mid 30's I decided to move back home and although I do miss the big city I wouldn't change this for the world. Our children have all grown and moved away and we enjoy our second home here in Fajardo when it is not rented. Because of the fact that we are self employed we are able to enjoy our condo and are proud to say we keep it in tip top shape.
