Take the elevator to the second floor which features 4 bedrooms, one which is master with full bath, huge hall bath and all bedrooms with walk out access to covered decks. Elevator goes to all floors...

The third floor features an open floor plan with fully equiped gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, great room, with fireplace and large master bedroom. An additional half bath is also on this level. Walk out to both covered porches and decks to enjoy the beautiful ocean views and scenery or just relax by the private (heated) pool and hot tub.

They will provide bed linens, and pre-stock the house with trash bags, soaps, and dish detergent to get you started.   • We just returned from a week at Sounds Good. It is a beautiful house. The owner was very responsive to all of my questions. The pool/hot tub area is very private compared to other houses in the neighborhood. it is a short 5 minute walk to the beach. We had a distant view of the ocean and lake view. The house is within walking distance of Food Lion, bike and kayak rentals and a few restaurants. Many other good restaurants and shops are just a quick drive. We would definitely go back!

  • We rented this house June 27-July 4, 2009. This home is well taken care of and had plenty of room for our group of 11 and 2 dogs. We have vacationed on Hatteras Island for 16 years and this was by far our best rental experience. We will no longer be using a rental company. You will not go wrong by renting this house!   • We just returned from a week at this beautiful home in Avon. The pictures do not do it justice! It is extremely open and spacious, yet homey and comfortable. Within walking distance is the beach, Food Lion plus other shops and restaurants, and beautiful nature walks throughout Kinnakeet shores. There were four adults and 6 children in our party and there was more than enough space for everyone. The kids loved the rec room w/ pool table, tv, and easy access to the pool and hot tub. Ocean and bay views are lovely from this home. The owner is extremely pleasant, easily accessible for questions and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we had one of the best vacations ever! Can't wait to come back...

The house is an absolute beauty, clean, spacious, quiet, convenient, and I absolutely expect to stay again (hopefully this year).
