Las Palomas is the premier resort destination in Puerto Peñasco. As owners we can offer you the lowest rates while still giving you full access to all resort amenities. There are no separate cleaning or bracelet fees - unlike other resorts in Rocky Point, the rate we quote is all you will pay.
When comparing ours to other condos at Las Palomas, find out if they have a golf membership (ours does) or if it is resort managed in the rental pool (ours is) before deciding.
*RENTERS BEWARE* Our rates are the lowest authorized rates for a 3 bedroom. If you see lower rates you are most likely renting illegally. Illegal renters have to charge you separately for cleaning and bracelets and will ask you to lie about how you rented. Las Palomas knows which condos use this tactic, and you will be questioned at the front desk and possibly denied basic services (internet, television, cleaning). You may be asked to park off the property and walk to your condo, and you may have to pay extra for your services. Avoid embarassment and support Las Palomas; Rent only from rental pool condos and request a confirmation letter from Las Palomas.
Our condo is in Phase I on the 8th floor of the Topaz building. Not sure if you want Phase I or Phase II? Phase I has a wider pool area, slide, and has a better beach (Phase II is all rocky).
Our three bedroom, two bath, 3-2V model has a full granite counter kitchen and a laundry room with full sized washer/dryer. The living room has a flat panel HDTV with blu-ray and home theater stereo, and each bedroom has its own flat panel TV. DirecTV satellite broadcasts both Phoenix local and Spanish language broadcasts.
The dining room table can be expanded to seat 8 plus a flip up coffee table in the living room allows comfortable dining for two more people. Two of the bedrooms have sliding glass doors leading to the balcony and have ocean views.
The 442 sq foot balcony has dining for six and seating for four more. Playing hooky from work or school? There's even free high speed internet if you need it.
Our condo has a platinum golf membership and is entitled to reduced greens fees and 14 day advance tee time reservations. Not all condos have a golf membership. Platinum card guests should expect to pay a lower green fee than someone staying at a condo that does not have a golf membership condo. Rates change, but the current platinum rates as of Spring 2009 are $45 (including a cart), while normal resort guests pay $65. If outside guests are allowed, their fee is $90. They also offer specials for twilight and 9 holes.

Why the Owner Chose Las Palomas Resort
We fell in love with Rocky Point the first time we visited in 2002. Growing up in New Jersey, most of our beach time was spent going to the Jersey Shore, and we always refer to Rocky Point as our "Mexican Jersey Shore!"
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
A perfect day for us usually starts with a long walk up and down the beach, picking up shells along the way. The family will usually head to the pool and I'll head to the golf course. Then we meet at the pool and relax with some drinks, some shrimp tacos or pizza. Afterwards we head out to town, maybe to the malecon for dinner and more drinks, or ????

This is the Ruby Building, which contains a lobby, restaurant (La Maria), and the fitness center.
The Phase II lobby building also holds the convention rooms, restaurant (Citron), and a Spa.
The clubhouse also has a small restaurant serving a really good breakfast burrito as well as sandwhiches and burgers.
This is one of my favorite restaurants, not because of the food (which is descent), but because it is outside right on the beach!
There are two restaurants on top - El Capitan and The Lighthouse. Both restaurants are worth going to for the view!
Great place for breakfast. The husband is a German pastry chef and the wife is mexican, and they make the best of both worlds. Where else can you get strudle and burritos for breakfast!
Turn down this street to go to Las Palomas. It is marked by the baseball stadium on one side and an LCD screen with Las Palomas advertising on the other.

Had a great time. The resort is beautiful. The golf is amazing. The condo was in tip top shape with all the kitchen items needed and the beds were super comfortable. The view was great as well. Overall it exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended!

the Room was very nice and as advertised, the pictures are accurate to what we saw. We booked through TripAdvisor. I would recommend this room to any one. The pool bar was good.. About $6 a drink. We also rented jet skis which was a blast. The owner Mike was very helpful with advice and in answering our questions. We had 7 guys going down and then added an 8th and it was "no problem." Bottom line I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us! We had an amazing time! The condo was so comfortable! The pools were beautiful and the beach was so much fun! We enjoyed cooking fresh fish from the market in the condo kitchen. At night we sat on the balcony with a cup of coffee. So relaxing. The views from the balcony were beautiful! We look forward to a future visit.

We already knew that Las Palomas is a top notch resort, but this property was a nice surprise. First of all, it sits on a corner of a tower, giving you more privacy. It is well and comfortably furnished. We slept comfortably in our King sized bed. The decor is up-to-date and luxurious and you can't beat the view from the large balcony - we found that we spend most of our time there thanks to the comfortable patio furniture and the breeze you get at that level which was amazing. It was the best deal we could find and it was worth every dollar and more. This particular condo sits on phase "one" of the resort and in our opinion, has the best amenities - the infinity pools are large and clean and perfect, the lazy river was relaxing and the beach was clean, safe and so enjoyable. The owners make you feel at home, we want to thank them for their hospitality. making sure that we had all of the information we needed to get there and enjoy the condo and the resort once we got there. My family and I can't wait to stay here again!

We stayed in this condo from June 10-13 and we had a blast. Las Palomas is beautiful, and the condo was as well. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, the furniture was comfortable, and the amenities were amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better stay, and would definitely stay here again. Mike and Simone are great owners and were very nice and helpful getting our stay set up. Thanks guys!

My wife and I have only been to Mexico through cruises - which means a few hours at a time. The idea of being there for a week was daunting, but the owners were super helpful with lots of recommendations and the Los Palmoas Resort is just amazing. This place was perfect for a family of 5. Our kids loved it. By the end of the week we were sad to go. The view was beautiful, the pools amazing, the staff friendly, and as my wife noted, she hadn't seen so many people cleaning and sweeping since we were at Disney! The resort was spotless. Everyone had a great time.

there were a couple of minor hitches with the room but, the overall stay was good i would highly recommend this resort to stay at, beautiful views and all hitches were handle expediantly and with politeness very good service the hitches were electricity would go out in one of the bathrooms seemed to be a breaker issue and telephone to call the front desk would not work properly it would be intermittent.
Owner response:Thanks for taking the time to submit a review! We found the breaker problem was due to a faulty fan in the 2nd bathroom and have replaced the fans in both bathrooms. I believe the problem with the telephone was that the front desk was extremely busy with Spring Break. I also tried calling from Phoenix and they didn't pick up the phone either, but that is usually not a problem and they are typically very responsive. Thanks again for letting us know - without this type of feedback, we would never know there was a problem!
