Our Villa is located in Oia, a traditional settlement in the northern part of Santorini, 150 meters above the sea level. Small white houses on the rim of the caldera, interspersed by splashes of okra, fuchsia, cobalt blue, oyster pink and earthy red, smooth winding paths interconnect, 79 churches and the most breathtaking sunset makes Oia one of the most desired place to stay in the world.
Sunlight Residence was originally a summer family house. Built on the highest point of the village, right next to the main road with no steps near by the center of Oia, our fully self contained and deluxe residence offers you all the comfort that provides a home and plus.
Our 110 square meters Residence can host 2-6 guests. It affords one master bedroom with queen-size bed and the second one with two single beds and two bathrooms with one bath tub. The open plan living-dining area affords one kitchen fully equipped with modern facilities and a comfortable living room with two convertibles sofas and fire place. Next to it, a 2 level lounge-dining terrace & garden with Jacuzzi and panoramic views of the glorious caldera, volcano, Thirasia and the deep blue Aegean Sea.
Sunlight Residence spoils you on your arrival with 2 bottles of our local wine, ironed bed linens with hand made embroideries, flowers, home made sweets, fresh fruits and hospitality. Our villa is the ideal environment for an exquisite vacation in a setting blessed by unique natural beauty.
Notes on accommodations: We offer personalized assistance to all our guests for private tours, excursions, weddings and VIP services. For your honeymoon, champagne and decor is made especially for you. Experience a candle light dinner at your private terrace, available on request at Sunlight Residence. Please note that the Jacuzzi will be ready for end of May 2008. For the month of July, August and September, we offer free transfer to our guests.
Coast/Beach: Nearest beach Katharos, 3 kilometers from the bus station, quiet, nice and private with black pebbles and little stones. Ammoudi bay, a small harbor with fishing boats, waterfront taverns and restaurant, can be reached by car, or by walking down the 214 steps. Armeni, a bit further at about 286 steps or by taking a small boat, which departs regularly from Ammoudi on daily basis, worth to see! There are a few rare black sand beaches on Santorini; the most popular one is Red Beach, located in Akrotiri, 22 Kilometers from our Villa. Perivolos is also a must, with its stylish beach bars & restaurants, sandy sea bottom and stretch of black sand.
Travel: Nearest Port 20 kilometers, nearest airport 17 kilometers. For exploring Santorini, we also recommend to rent a car. Fira, the capital is 15 kilometers from our villa.
Further details: Oia’s architecture is typical Santorini-Cycladic with small houses sunk deep into the volcanic rock, whitewashed walls and blue domes churches. Considered to be the cultural heart of the island, Oia has many popular Greek art galleries, fashion stores, handicrafts, handmade jewelery and exquisite cuisine.
Oia’s sunset: Oia is one of the most photographed places in Greece and the best known for breathtaking sunsets.
Hiking: Near by our Villa, crossed the popular hiking path that lead to Immerovigli, another beautiful village of Santorini, 20 more minutes and you reach Fira town, the Capital of Santorini. It takes around 3 hours and offer unforgettable views of the Caldera.
All rooms are equipped with all amenities plus air conditioning, satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen and daily made services.
The rates are quoted in Euros per day, include all the taxes.
Check in time is 2 pm. Check out time is 12am.
A 10% discount will apply for staying more then 7 days.

Reservation confirmation: For any booking at Sunlight Residence, we kindly ask you to contact us by email or by telephone. In order to secure a booking we need to receive at least two night's deposit. Remaining balance is due upon check out.
Cancellation policy: Any cancellation less than 21 days prior to the arrival date results in 50% payment of the entire booking. Any cancellation within seven (7) days prior to the arrival date or non appearance or less-stay, may result in 100% payment of the entire booking. The deposit, after being paid, is non-refundable in any case, but can be used for re-booking purposes within one year.
Rates includes: American breakfast, Two bottles of wine and flowers, daily maid services and all the taxes.
Sunlight Residence offer regular transfer service from/to port/airport at a cost of 25 Euros for two guests, extra guest, 5 Euros. We also offer VIP transfer on request. |
