LunaSea: Enjoy the moon rising as the sun sets over the sea from the rooftop deck. This spacious retreat with a ocean view has many amenities and is located on Tybee Island, a barrier island, 20 minutes from downtown Savannah.
This home was built in 2007 and has an elevator to accommodate luggage, groceries, and those needing help with the stairs. There is a two-car garage and plenty of parking in the driveway that also has room to store a boat.
The first floor houses master bedroom #1. This room has a king size bed and a private bathroom with a garden tub and double vanity. There is also private access to a porch off of the master bedroom. There is a TV/DVD in this room. Just down the hall, is guest bedroom #2 with two full beds and guest bedroom #3 with two twin beds. These two rooms share an adjacent bathroom in the hallway. The laundry room is on this floor, as well.
Master bedroom # 2 is on the second level. This room has a queen size bed and has an adjacent bathroom. The main living area is also on the second level. There is a large open living room with a 32" flat screen TV. The kitchen has stainless appliances and beautiful tile counter tops. There is plenty of work space and storage. The large kitchen table seats 8. The bar seats 3. Off of the living area, French doors open to a large porch with a gas grill and seating. Enjoy sunsets and beautiful views of the Back River from the porch.
The roof top floor, on the third level, is a perfect spot for gatherings, watching the sunset, or enjoying a meal. There is a casual table for 4 with a large umbrella. The house is fully equipped to meet all your needs.
This house is 1/2 block walk to the back river beach where dolphins are regularly seen. Two kayaks are available for your use. (we do not have life jackets) The dolphins will often, swim up to your boat and eat out of your hands. This house is also a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean beach where you can enjoy large waves. Wave runners, parasailing, great restaurants, shops, antique stores, and many other beach activities are minutes away! The house is equipped with a large beach wagon, beach chairs, and plenty of toys for your enjoyment.
The house is a duplex. We own the unit on the back of the house. When looking at the picture, you will enter on the side of the house.

Historic Savannah
Savannah offers a long list of historic and cultural attractions and activities that visitors to our area can choose from. There is always something fun and exciting to do in beautiful Savannah. Take a tour of the city, see a show at the Historic Savannah Theatre, experience art at the Jepson Center for the Arts and Telfair Museum, or take a stroll down Savannah's famous River Street.... whatever you choose it is a great compliment to your trip to Tybee.
St. Patrick's Day in Savannah is a wonderful celebration. In fact, it is the 2nd largest celebratrion in the country. This year St. Pat's is on Saturday (3/17). Experince the best of Savannah by staying at Tybee and being 15-20 minutes from downtown Savannah.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the easy walk to the beach and the great restaurants nearby. The house was built in 2007. It has an elevator! We love the roof top deck for looking at the ocean or enjoying dinner while watching the sunset. It is a short walk to restaurants and shopping. We have 2 kayaks available for your use. The beach is very close by. Beautiful ocean views.

We rented this house with 4 couples. It was spacious & beautiful. The location was perfect for us. So nice to have a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Loved having the elevator for groceries & luggage. The views are amazing. We spent time at Tybee in the past but this is our new favorite place to stay. Hope to rent from you again!

This is a wonderful beach house! We had 6 adults and 5 children between our three families and there was plenty of room. The location was great. It was so close to the beach and I liked being on this side of the beach. It was close enough to walk to many restaurants and shopping. The elevator was wonderful since my mother was joining us and she has limited mobility. The beds were so comfortable! We gathered in the evenings on the rooftop deck and watched the sunset over the ocean. What a great vacation. We love Tybee and hope to return soon.

No soap, dirty bath cloth in bathroom, no mats on bth floor, no towels or bath cloths, dirty towels in laundry unwashed, sheets in dryer (not dry), beds without sheets, no kithcen towels, no dishwasher detergent, garage door works intermittently, house unlocked with out operational garage door, no keys given to guest, house unlocked upon arrival, no lamp in the den, no lamp in the fourth bedroom, furnished like a college students apartment, examine the VRBO pictures because that is everything!!!! Literally! Most uncomfortale couch I have ever sat on, had to bring in wicker off the porch to have friends to watch a game. Elevator floor filthy (carpeting) Ower/ owners representative very uncooperative. VRBO ad encourages last minute offers, but apparently they feel no obligation to deliver a clean equiped place if you do come last minute!!!!!!!!!! Positive, beautiful exterior, close to back beach. The widows walk up top has great views, watch the sun set as the Moon rises, however the door to the widows walk won't properly close, beware with children!!!!Great for a fishing buddies trip (four bed rooms) that don't care if they have soap.
Owner response:We do encourage last minute offers. These tenants called the day before they wanted to move in. We, as owners, had planned to stay at the house that evening but we negotiated an extremely discounted rental rate and changed our plans. We let them know that our housekeepers had not cleaned since the previous tenants but we would try get them to the property as soon as possible. We, as owners, have 6 children between us and jobs. We let them know that we would not be able visit the beach house with 24 hours notice on a weekday. We also would not be able to provide the typical set-up supplies (soap, dishwasher/washer detergent). They said they had no problem with this and seemed happy to be finding a great house with only 24 hours notice at a huge discount. We called our housekeepers and they had others units to clean but would attempt to get to ours as soon as possible. When these renters arrived, the housekeepers were in the process of cleaning. The towels and sheets were being washed. We had hoped that they would be finished before the renters arrived but with 4 BR/3BA to clean, it takes some time to launder. The house was cleaned but it was after their arrival. This has never happened before but we have never had someone call us 24 hours before arriving. There is no problem with the garage door. This is the access we use for all of our tenants and our housekeepers. We have a keyless entry system which prevents having to keep up with keys. This is great since there are usually large groups staying at our house who leave and return from the beach during the day at different times. We have a keypad on the garage and each tenant is given there own personal code before arrival. There is no problem with the door to the rooftop deck. The deck has a railing around the perimeter. As mentioned before, we have 6 children ages 4-12 between us. We stay at our property and would never allow for our children's well-being to be put at risk. Regardless of the complaints above, these tenants stayed at our beach house. These tenants were angry because we would not refund most of their rent over a month after their stay. We had to pay for the utilities that they used during the stay and our housekeepers. See above: The date of their stay was 9/23 however, their angry review was submitted 10/28 after not getting their money back. Please do not be deterred by this atypical situation. See the comments from the other two renters below. One of which had rented 2 weeks prior.

Staying in this beautiful house made our vacation so comfortable and convenient. With 4 children included in our extended family, we all had so much space. The kitchen is wonderful...so much room and very nice appliances. There was such a nice breeze on the 2nd floor porch...a great place to relax in the morning and drink coffee. The main level also has a beautiful sunset view, but that can't top the view from the rooftop deck. That was such a fun gathering spot, especially while watching the fireworks over Labor Day Weekend. The house is in a great location...easy to get anywhere on the island. We would love to stay there again!

We had a great time. The home was very kid friendly and lots of space for everyone. New, clean, and fresh! We loved walking the beach and walking to AJ's to eat and watch the sunset. Love the location, will definitely come back every year.
