Enjoy this fabulous retreat with all the amenities and great views of the Back River Tybee beach, a barrier island, 20 minutes from downtown Savannah.
This new home has an elevator to accommodate luggage, groceries, and those needing help with the stairs. There is a two-car garage and plenty of parking in the driveway that also has room to store a boat.
The first floor houses master bedroom #1. This room has a king size bed and a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and double vanity. There is also private access to a porch off of the master bedroom. There is a TV/DVD in this room.
Just down the hall, is guest bedroom #2 with two full beds and guest bedroom #3 with two twin beds. These two rooms share an adjacent bathroom in the hallway. The laundry room is on this floor, as well.
Master bedroom # 2 is on the second level. This room has a queen size bed and has an adjacent bathroom. The main living area is also on the second level. There is a large open living room with a 32" flat screen TV.
The kitchen has stainless appliances and beautiful tile counter tops. There is plenty of work space and storage. The large kitchen table seats 8. The bar seats 3. Off of the living area, French doors open to a large porch with a gas grill and seating. Enjoy sunsets and beautiful views of the Back River from the porch.
The roof top floor, on the third level, is a perfect spot for gatherings, watching the sunset, or enjoying a meal. There is a casual table for 4 with a large umbrella. The house is fully equipped to meet all your needs.
This house is 1/2 block walk to the back river beach where dolphins are regularly seen. A kayak is available for your use. The dolphins will often, swim up to your boat and eat out of your hands. This house is also a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean beach where you can enjoy large waves. Wave runners, parasailing, great restaurants, shops, antique stores, and many other beach activities are minutes away! The house is equipped with a large beach wagon, beach chairs, and plenty of toys for your enjoyment.

This event has become a Tybee tradition, held every January 1st at noon at the Pier on the south end of the island. Plan to be with us next year, invigorating your soul with a cleansing (and cold) plunge into the Atlantic.

March 13th, 2010 - Tybee Island Irish Heritage Celebration Parade
3:00 p.m. The parade will assemble at Memorial Park, proceed down Butler Avenue, take a left on Tybrisa Street, and end on the Strand. This Irish Parade began seven years ago under the guidance of Jimmy and Jay Burke. It gives all the Irish a chance to celebrate their Irish Heritage. Since it began, it has become a tradition that seems to grow bigger every year. There will be lots of Irish families marching, along with bands, bagpipers, floats, and the Alee Temple Shriners. You are invited to join in this Irish Celebration, Tybee style.
April - 6th Annual Turtle Trot - 5K Tybee Beach Run
Fundraiser for the Tybee island Sea turtle Project and kick-off for Coastal Georgia's Sea Turtle Nesting Season!

We love the easy walk to the beach and the great restaurants nearby. The house was built in 2007! It has an elevator! We love the roof top deck for looking at the ocean or enjoying dinner while watching the sunset.
