Villa Oasis is located within a five minute walking distance to the
boats, beach, hotels, restaurants and stores. Nestled at the end of a
cul de sac, there is also privacy, affording a very secure feeling,
and no noises from the main two lane, road located 350 meters away..
The Villa has 5 bedrooms, 3 are located in the main house and 2 are located in the apartment. The main bedroom has a King size bed, the second bedroom has a queen size and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds each. Located in the middle of the main house and the apartment their is a very large swimming pool with a waterfall pleasantly gurgling down
the rocks. The two separate buildings have an unobstructed view of a lush, tropical
jungle setting and 3 different balconies to admire the forest.
A well maintained garden area affords ample privacy.
The location is both quiet and private, where the only sounds you hear are the monkeys, birds and bubbling water.
It has a spacious living room and dining area that flows inward from the patio overlooking the jungle and pool to the open kitchen area.
Closed off from this is the family room. Leading off of the family
room are two bedrooms and a bath, and the master bedroom with it’s own
bath, walk in closet and outside private porch. Also situated off the
family room is a large room with its own entrance for storage. The
construction is high end and the total amount of construction is 5500
square feet.
All the ceilings are done with Mahogany wood; the main living area has
a 22 ft ceiling, while the family room boasts 24ft ceilings with
ventilation, creating a very open and spacious atmosphere.
Situated in an area that many consider one of the most prolific marlin
fishing areas in the world, Puerto Carrillo is a small unobtrusive
community that has been playing host to some of the most well renown
sport fishing boats in the world, since its discovery as a billfish
destination over 15 years ago. The small town boasts several hotels,
fine restaurants, stores, a small airstrip with daily service to San
Jose, and one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. The tiny
harbor affords protection to a small handful of charter and private
boats that are here on permanent bases.
The beautiful white sand beach it's popular with swimmers and it's an
ideal beach for your kids.

$125 to $150 per room if rented like a B&B
$1800 to $3400 depending the size of group and if you take to whole Villa or not.
3 night minumun stay in the high season. Ask about partial week or longer rentals.
50% deposit required to reserve. Full payment 60 nights prior to your arrival.
We do not take credits cards or personal checks.
Cleaning daily is included. All taxes are included
$4200 for Easter week and $4900 for Christmas and New Years week.

One of the most important places in the world for sea turtles. Several times a year, female turtles come ashore in such numbers that the sandy beach begins to resemble a stretch of rocky coastline. These mass nesting episodes are locally referred to as "arribadas," or arrivals. One of these events can last from two to eight days with most nesting taking place at night.

I was born in San Jose, Costa Rica in 1974, my family is from the Guanacaste area. I was very lucky growing up in both places, the beach and the city. My husband Rick Ruhlow is from Long Beach, California and he came to Costa Rica on vacation to visit his retired parents and while on vacation he fell in love with the country and decided to make it his home as well. We have been in the rental business for the last 13 years to provide lodging services for our Sport-fishing clientele in Playa Carrillo/Playa Samara area. We have a son and a daughter that go to school in San Jose and they both come home on the weekends and spend all their holidays here with us!

I've had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica three times in 2010 and during each trip I had the pleasure to stay at Villa Oasis a true tropical dream paradise in Carrillo! Jackie Mora and Rick Ruhlow of Kingfisher Sportfisher have coordinated each of these wonderful travel experiences; affording special detail prior, during and after each trip. Their exclusive boutique management services are inclusive but not limited to reservation scheduling for transportation, lodging, dining and entertainment. Without reservation I'd highly recommend that my friends and family alway contact Kingfisher Sportfishing first for comprehensive assistance with any of their future Costa Rica travels.

We LOVE Villa Oasis!! We have been staying at this property, in the apartment, since 2001. Each large BR in the apt. has it's own large bath and there is a small kitchen & large sitting area downstairs by the pool, as well as a rooftop deck. We love sitting out by the pool after a day of fishing..or horseback riding or a trip on the zip-line tour. We have been coming to Carrillo since the late 1990's. We used to stay at the hotel, but once we found this place, no more hotel for us. These rooms are so much nicer! They are cleaned daily and the linens are changed, too, if you wish. It is like a small boutique hotel in paradise. This place is a 5 minute walk to the beautiful, uncrowded beach, a 4 minute walk to 2 or 3 great restaurants. It's so convenient. Jackie, who runs this property, is so helpful with booking any activity you want..and she speaks perfect English and Spanish.
