It is only 1.5 hours from Panama City and located next the the Royal Decameron Resort on Playa Blanca. The Miramar complex is located on the beach near the local fisherman's coop and Woody's Canadian Bar and Grill and only a few 100 meters from the Decameron Beach Resort.

My in laws purchased the La Ensenada property as a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle from the real world. Once my husband and I saw the Ensenada we knew that we wanted a beach front unit too so we, along with a few brothers and sisters, invested in the Miramar 1 unit and are are glad we did! We are all beach lovers and this unit is also ON THE BEACH!!! We eat fresh fish, swim in the cool mellow ocean waters, relax on the large balcony over looking the beach and ocean, sleep in the large comfortable beds, read whatever interests us, and play all day when staying in our Miramar unit.

Even tho it's been a month since our stay at Miramar, the excitment of our trip just keeps growing. We had the most amazing 10 days,and enough to know we can't wait to return. The condo was even better then the pictures. The layout of the condo was accomadating for young and old. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Sure made good use of the icemaker and water. The balcony over looking the Pacific ocean was so beautiful and well equiped with out door furniture and grill. Made good use of that also. Immaculate is what word we would use to describe the condo. The little stales on the beach were fun, but our favorite was the shop on the road going towards Woody's. Looking for souvenirs, your bound to find it there and more. The village of Farrallon are filled with the kindest people. Good to know a little Spanish(we did not) but were able to communicate what we wanted. Very patient people. The local resturants had very good food. Each of us had our favorite at each place. All the returants were good and within walking distance. Take the beach route there and come home the way of the road. What fun!!! Away from Farrollan we went to a wonderful resturant called MaMia on the highway just past the Ell Villa road. Pizza to die for. Nice atmosphere also. Another good place to eat is XOKO, not far from Farrallon on the highway going into Panama City. We found a wonderful place called Queso Chele that was a carry out that had the best empanadas. Closer to Panama City. A good place to stop when your heading out to Farralon. It's about 65km from Farrollan. I was worried about the food before we went to Panama but didn't have any problem ordering food. I'm not a fish eater. We did have an incitant happen with our grandson who is 12. Doing flps on the beach he broke his arm. We took him to Coronando at the health clinic and got excellant care. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the clinic was very clean. Did you know that Panama pays for your health care for 30 days while in the country. Our daughter didn't have to pay for anything and was treated so kindly. If your thinking of a condo to rent this just might be the one for you. Working with the owner was a very pleasant experience. Explained everything so well. Thanks the the experince of a lifetime.

A mi familia y a mi nos encanto el apartamento. Fue el lugar perfecto para estar casi dos semanas en nuestro re-encuentro familiar. La limpieza y orden del apartamento fue excelente. Todos nosotros nos sentimos super comodos y la verdad es que fue como estar en un hotel 5 estrellas. Las camas son muy comodas, los baños son amplios, la cocina es espectacular y demasiado acogedora. La señora Renee es una persona muy honesta y amable al igual que Vielka, la encargada. Para nosotros fue una experiencia inolvidable y por sobre todo muy agradable. Renee, muchas gracias por todo!

We really enjoyed the unit. Location was great, beach right out front and the big windows gave an amazing view from morning till night. Cross breeze through the laundry room meant no AC most days. The balcony was well used as the one above gave shade most of the day. We will definitely contact you again the next trip to Panama. It was a GREAT place. Maybe if there was some history of Noriega’s house down the beach that would add some interest to any others that are coming. Anyway thanks again. Lance & Candi

The Miramar 1 2A unit felt warm and cozy to my family and me. We were pleased with the spacious apartment. We were also pleased to find that the unit was well equipped and furnished and that floors, bedrooms, linens and towels were clean. The ocean view is fabulous.

I STAYED WITH MY CHILDREN & GRANDCHILDREN IN THIS 4 BEDROM 4 BATH APARTMENT IN FRONT OF THE BEST BEACH IN THE PANAMA PACIFIC COAST JUST 1.5 HOURS FORM THE CITY. YOU WALK ONTO THE BEACH, NOTHING IN BETWEEN, EXCEPT THE POOL AND JACCUZZI. THE APARTMENT IS BRAND NEW AND CONVENIENTLY FURNISHED, ALL YOU NEED, JUST BRING YOUR CLOTH. WE JET SKI, PARA SAILED, SAILED, GOLFED, RODE HORSE, YOU NAME IT. NO MOMENT FOR BOREDOM. YOU COULD STAY QUIET AT YOU PRIVATE TERRACE AND ENJOY THE UNOBSTRUCTED OCEAN VIEW, OR IF WANTED SOME ACTION YOU CAN HIT THE CASINO OR THE HOTEL DECAMERON JUST A FEW BLOCKS AWAY. THE LIVING/DINING/OPEN KITCHEN AREA HAS A WALL TO WALL SLIDING GLASS DOOR LEADING TO THE AMPLE BALCONY THAT YOU COULD COMPLETELY OPEN, THUS INCORPORATIG ALL THAT AREA TO THE OPENESS OF THE OCEAN OR IN CASE OF BEING TO HOT OR HUMID, CLOSE SAME AND TUN ON THE AC. I USED THE AC IN THAT AREA VERY LITTLE AS FOUND OUT THAT BY LEAVING THE WINDOW AND DOOR OPEN OF ONE OF THE BACK ROOMS, THERE WAS ALLWAYS A NICE TROPICAL CROSS VENTILATION. THE APARTMENT IS KEPT VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. I TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE MAID SERVICE THAT WAS OFFERED TO HELP WITH THE DAY TO DAY AND THE RATE IS UNEXPENSIVE, SHE IS VERY QUIET AND HARDWORKING. THE RATE IS COMPETITIVE ON SIMILAR UNITS IN THE AREA, BUT FOR US LOCALS IS HIGH. I HAVE ALSO RENTED FORM THIS OWNER IN ANOTHER BUILDING DOWN THE SAME BEACH, JUST ONE ROOM SMALLER, BUT IS MORE QUIET AND PRIVATE. I WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK AGAIN, BUT NEED TO WAIT OUT ANOTHER VACATION OF THE GRANDCHILDREN.

For all other questions they answered EXCELLENT and/or VERY SATISFIED: If there was anything that you wish the unit had and didn’t at the time of your stay please indicate what that item or service would be. No changes necessary. If you could change anything about the condo what would you change? No changes necessary. What did you like best about your stay in the unit? Convenience to the beach and local restaurants. Carlos is a very nice to be around, polite, interested in keeping clients pleased and very helpful. We are looking forward to seeing him again. Cleaning service was stellar !

This is a very special condo, directly on the beach and better than the owner's description. We are planning to return in 2011 for a month, our third time. It's perfect for us and while there's everything to do in Farallon and environs we enjoy the opportunity to walk and swim and read and relax on the beach or at the pool or in the jacuzzi and eat at local restaurants (all good). Of course, you can snorkel or sail or tour around (a car is recommended) or gamble at the Casino nearby (we didn't) or visit the Canal, etc. etc. The apartment itself is super and is equipped with anything you may need including a juice squeezer, an outdoor BBQ grill on the terrace, clothes washer & dryer and an emergency kit with all kinds of bandaids and bandages. You name it it's there. The property is new and cleaned all the time and well maintained. It is better than the photos. We had plenty of room; my daughters and their husbands joined us. We all had a wonderful time. On another occasion my sister visited. Although we don't have little ones, this place is a children's paradise. The owners are most helpful and responsive. We can't recommend it highly enough. You can't go wrong here.

You can rent a car at the Tocumen International Airport upon arrival or via the Decameron Resort which is only a short walk down the beach from either unit. Hi Renee, As you may have heard from Cecilia, we really enjoyed our stay in your condo - we met a few of the neighbors who stay there on holidays, and had a lot of fun with them, a few barbecues down at the pool with very fresh fish and seafood, and a few drinks were shared. They adopted us a family while we were there, they shared all their stories about growing up in Panama, etc... Of course we got to know the family who owns Woody's Pub down the beach as they are Canadians and ex-air force like my husband. They have opened a new Woody's 2 at Playa Blance that has a wood burning Pizza oven - you can get through the security gates at Playa Blanca resort by telling them you are going to the restaurant - their new place is on the beach just behind the resort. Great pizza for the kids who were craving "normal" food. Our favorite restaurant was Los Camisones - just down the highway - great food and good prices. We loved the 0.38 priced beer at the Chinitos too! The condo is absolutely fantastic, everything we needed was there (though we found out there is no phone, which you will need to change on your information package) - Nelson, the caretaker is a star - he was absolutely wonderful, and he keeps the grounds and condo in great shape (we gave him some Christmas gifts for his kids and wife,and a good tip when we left!!) So wonderful to wake up with such a wonderful view of the ocean every day, all the fixtures and appliances are high end and it made it a joy to be able to stay there. All in all a great time, and we would like to go back some day. -Ann

Our stay at the La Ensenada Condo unit 5A was fabulous. It is right on the beach, a new building and beautifully furnished. It was an ideal place to get away from the crowds and relax, however, you can certainly find a great deal to do near by. At night you can leave the sliding glass doors open and hear the ocean! What a marvelous way to enjoy the evening or go to sleep. The pool overlooks the ocean, so we found ourselves swimming in both a great deal. What a great place to vacation.
