Our villa is situated close to Fort Myers 40 minutes north of Naples and 90 minutes south of Sarasota on Interstate 75.
By air you can fly into the local S.W. Florida International Airport (Fort Myers) which is a 15 minute drive to the villa.
Both Tampa and Miami Airports are approx. 2hrs 15 minutes drive away.
Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach and Estero are only a few minutes drive away.

The villa has a spacious open plan living area with pocket sliding doors onto the pool deck from the morning room, lounge and master bedroom.
Family Room – Large open plan room with cathedral ceiling and views over the lake.
Ideal for informal family gatherings, playing games and watching television.
Fully carpeted and contains two settees, armchair, entertainment centre housing a 32” flat screen TV (cable) and DVD/VCR player, coffee and occasional tables and fan with centre light. There is also a selection of DVDs and videos together with a collection of reading materials.
Another unit houses a luxury CD player and a large collection of CDs for your use.
Lounge/Dining Room – This area has ceramic tiles throughout with a large luxurious Chinese rug. Huge sofa, two armchairs, occasional and coffee tables, dining room table and six chairs, etc.
The triple sliding doors open fully onto the pool deck and views over the lake. This is a tranquil and sunny room.
Kitchen/Morning Room – Enjoy a scenic breakfast around the large wooden breakfasting table and six chairs in the beautiful tiled morning room with double sliding doors opening out onto the pool deck.
This adjoins the modern open plan, fully equipped, kitchen with large pantry and light wood cabinets. (Ceramic hob, large oven, microwave, extractor, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, waste disposal unit, large fridge/freezer with icemaker and chilled water dispenser, electric mixer/blender, etc. There is also a radio/CD player and a selection of CDs.
Master Bedroom – Fully carpeted with a luxurious King “sleigh” bed, bedside units, whicker chair, large unit with mirror, lamps, built in double wardrobe leading through to the en-suite with luxury oval bath, huge walk in shower, twin basin vanity unit, hairdryer and separate WC. Truly luxurious!
Bedroom 2 – Queen size double bed, carpeted, two bedside units, large unit with mirror, whicker chair, and double built in wardrobe.
Bedroom 3 – Fully carpeted with twin beds, unit, whicker chair and built in double wardrobe.
Bedroom 4 – Fully carpeted with twin beds, unit, built in wardrobe, whicker chair, large unit housing a TV, VCR and Playstation 2.
Bathroom – Lovely fresh family bathroom which is fully tiled with WC, vanity unit & basin, WC, bath, shower and hairdryers.
Utility Room – This room houses the top loading washing machine, separate tumble dryer, ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaners, etc.
Screened Deck & Pool – SOUTH FACING WITH SUN FROM DAWN TO DUSK!
Screened pool deck over looking the lake. The lanai (covered area) houses six chairs and a large oval table for alfresco dining and for convenience there is an additional WC with vanity unit and basin.
The heated pool (26’ x 14’) has both solar and electric heating, ensuring a warm pool in the cooler months, with underwater lighting. The pool screening ensures privacy to enjoy the sunshine. There are four sun loungers and the added luxury of a canopied swing sun lounger for taking it easy.
Garage –The double garage has an electrically operated garage door for easy use.
For your safety the villa has a fully approved rental license provided by the authorities of Florida and is compliant with all the rental regulations i.e. fire extinguisher, lighting and smoke alarm.
Things To Do
Nestling on the Gulf Coast, Fort Myers, has palm fringed avenues and white sandy beaches making this an idyllic vacation destination.
The area boasts every shop and restaurant imaginable, with various art and entertainment attractions.
Fort Myers has the finest New York designer stores, indoor air conditioned malls and the famous outlets where you can find named brands at a fraction of the retail price.
The area has some 20 different beaches including the islands of Sanibel and Captiva with their white sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
If you prefer beaches with amenities then try Fort Myers Beach with its beach bars and restaurants, water sports and sea fishing. Just south of Fort Myers are Bonita beach & Vanderbilt Beach. Along this stretch of coastline there are a numerous beautiful public beaches and wildlife parks and the Everglades within an hours drive away.
A trip on an “airboat” is essential to appreciate the wildlife.
There are some 50 golf courses with most hiring out clubs and equipment.
The Edison & Ford Winter Homes on McGregor Blvd are an interesting “step back in time” and well worth the visit.
Or if you prefer doing nothing at all, just enjoy the tranquility of the house and pool…..reading a book or enjoy some company at the community pool which is exclusive to the sub division. |
