  You know the sayings “what you see is what you get” and “you get what you pay for” well that is exactly what this house is. At first sight our thoughts were, oh my, what have we done? We had to have the cleaning crew come back and clean up the kitchen as soon as we got there. There was stuff spilt in the fridge and freezer, and the microwave and toast oven had not been cleaned as well. Then after getting settled and wondering why the AC was not working to well, we found all the filters needed some serious cleaning. We had to clean them all. We also had to do the same with the freezer, we couldn’t understand why our ice was melting in the freezer, and we finally figured out that the fan was so dirty, it was not moving. We cleaned this as well. Other issues I had with the house were the lack of light switch and outlet covers. With the number that were missing, you would think they cost a million bucks to replace. Most of the window latches do not work, if they are even there to begin with. There is a big coral like rock in the front yard by the porch. It looks like it has been used as an ashtray for about 10 years, but has never been cleaned out. It was so full of cigarette butts and was the one thing that we did not touch. There also is no covered parking as indicated. You know the ocean view this house is suppose to have, well the view is a lot of over grown trees and shrub as well as some new condos that were built. This house sits between 2 other houses, one has so much garbage in the front yard it looks like a landfill and rosters in the back, to which crow all day and night, it is not just a sun up thing. The house on the other side, hope you like dogs since there are about 15 of them in that yard. So between the rosters doing their thing and the dogs barking…..it was a little hard getting to sleep. Ok, I know you can’t control the neighbors, but there are a lot of things about this house that are pure neglect. It could be a very cute little house with a little upkeep. One last thing, if you have a house that sleeps 8, wouldn’t you think that the kitchen would be equipped to accommodate 8 people?

  I loved this vacation home, We go to P.R. every year and this is one of the best homes yet. The home was clean and comfortable with everything needed. Air conditioning was great in the am while we got ready for our outings and there were many activities near by. close to the beach and night life, yet the area was quite. pictures online do not give this home justice. I will def. rent this home again. The only down fall is no laundry on site, but there is a laundromat about 5 min away. I stayed with teens who loved the surf, and children who loved the tranquil beach near by. Great affordable roomy vacation home.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
